Thank you. I teach kindergarten and am able to use this in many ways. Your store looks great! My only suggestion is that the border is slightly cut off when printed and assembled.
I love all of Science Journal Flip Book units - as do my students. You have saved me so much time and effort. I teach 2nd grade C-Scope and I find these foldables very appropriate for my instruction even though you say they were designed for 1st grade. Thanks so much!
I just recently came across your store and blog, and I love them both! I am moving to 1st grade from 6th grade in the fall and could not be more excited! This will be such a great end of the year activity to do with my kids next year! Thank you so much!!!

BINSPIRED re: Grammar Warm-Ups Part 5
I see that you follow C-Scopes curriculum and I purchased all your Grammar Warm-Ups to implement those in my classroom. I also plan on purchasing your Science Journals as well. I was wondering if you have a Social Studies Journal that you are planning on making??? My school also uses C-Scope and I am so glad I came across your stuff. Please let me know if you are planning on doing a Social Studies unit of some sort or if you know anyone who has already made one.
Thank you sooo much for the lovely feedback!! Your feedback always brings a smile to my face! :)
Take care and thanks again!!!

jdenson re: Science Journal Flip Books Part 5 {17 Different Topics}
Thanks! On the animal coverings pictures there are two with feathers. There is not a feather category on the flip book. Is that correct or am I using it wrong? We put hair and feathers together. Let me know what how you intended for it to be used.
You are totally right!! There isn't!! 6 flaps won't fit. :( I am now remembering the problem. If I were to put any two together, I would put hair and fur together. I just read that fur is used to attract others, but they all really have hair. (Seems like a little much for my first grade friends!) There should be a feathers category, but it doesn't fit. I will just call them "mis-fits" and not have a place for them. In the meantime I am going to just get rid of those pictures and upload a new file! Thanks for bringing it to my attention! If you could shoot me an email at ryanandamandajoATgmailDOTcom I would love to thank you for this! :)

jdenson re: Science Journal Flip Books Part 5 {17 Different Topics}
Can you please tell me how you sorted "animals and their habitats?"
Are you talking about the squares that have triangles in the corners? Such as "Animal Movement and Mouths"? They are meant to fold in and then you write inside the flaps or draw pictures. Does this answer your question? Let me know!! :)

Rcfehr re: Science Journal Flip Books {BUNDLED for the WHOLE year}
I'm new to teacher to teacher site. How do I tell what is in your flip books?
If you click on the "preview" button above on this page, you will be able to view SOME of the foldables included. If you search in my store for the Science Flip Books, Science Flip Books Part 2-Part 5, you will be able to view every flip book that is included. :) Let me know if you have any more questions!
It was always in "my purchases", just wouldn't say "I owned it" for me to open it. I think it was a TPT error, but I finally got it! Used some of it review today and the kids really enjoyed it! Thank you so much for this great purchase! :)

jdenson re: Science Journal Flip Books Part 4 {17 Different Topics}
YES!! I am frantically working on it!! I have to get through professional development tomorrow morning and then I can devote more time to finishing it. It's over half way done!! :) You are so sweet to ask!!
Hey Amanda! I just purchased your "Shape" It Up! Unit and it will not give me the option to open it up. It still says only "Download a Preview". I have never had a problem with this before. It could possibly be a TPT error. Just thought you might know what's up. Thanks!
Oh no! That's no good. No one has ever had this problem. This is so strange! Did you try getting to the file from "my purchases"? If it still isn't working email me at ryanandamandajoATgmailDOTcom and we can figure something out. :)

I have just recently found you on TPT and I love your products! I love your Grammar Warmups and I was wondering if you have or are planning to do something similar in math? I'm looking for a quick daily review that is aligned with the TEKS. (Our district also uses CScope.)
You are so sweet!! Thank you!
Yes!! I do plan on doing it, but not until this summer. :( I wish I could say I would have them done sooner, but I know I won't. :(
Hi Amanda!! I actually have a salmon life cycle that's on my to-do-list. Would this work for ya? I can have it down next weekend too! Just let me know! :)
Please email me at Zip-a-Dee-Doo-DahDesigns@hotmail.com if you have any examples and/or more details. I'll be happy to help!!! :)
I just emailed you! Thanks so much for you quick response! :)

Felicita Aloyo (TpT Seller) re: Science Journal Flip Books Part 1 {18 Different Topics}
Hi!
I teach Science and Social Studies in Spanish to both bilingual and English monolingual students in Denton. I really like your Science foldable products but I need them in Spanish. Is there any way that these could be translated? They seem to be really good and I would love to use them in my classroom.
I have really been thinking about doing just that! I used to teach two-way dual language and I remember how hard it was to find Spanish things for the Spanish teacher in science and social studies! I am definitely willing to work on it! It will be a few days, though.
Hi! Unfortunately, I haven't had anyone else interested in just some of the stations so right now I do not plan on splitting it. I am working on a fractions unit that I hope to have up by Sunday. :)

I bought these a while back. Since you added more I re-downloaded it except the 2 new ones don't show up. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?
**I uploaded the file again. Let me know if you still have problems! :) Thanks so much!
Oh no! I can look into it this evening when I get home. It may be that I uploaded the old file instead of the new one. I'll get back to you soon. :)

Saddle Up For 2nd Grade (TpT Seller) re: Pattern Pallooza {an even and odd and additive patterns mini-unit}
On your patter assessment test, the question talking about bracelets. You say she needs 7 beads for each necklace but then ask how many beads will she need to make 5 bracelets. You questions also say bracelets. Just thought you'd want to know. This was a great unit!
I am so glad to hear that!! I have a poetry unit and winter literacy work stations. That's all right now. I have an "All About" writing unit, but just haven't posted it. Are you interested in anything specific? Work stations? Writing units? Comprehension units?
Hi Amanda!
I just wanted to let you know that I answered your question but it only seems to show up on my main store page {not under the product where you asked it}. In case you didn't see it, the cute little kiddies are from Kari Bolt here on Tpt!
I just went and checked her out! Thanks so much!! I love her stuff, too!! I am now following her and I put things on my wishlist already! Thank you, Donna!! :)

What exactly is pptx? I just bought this thinking it was a power point file...I'm thinking maybe it is not?
2/24- I noticed that you purchased the Sight Word Superheroes that is not editable today. I just wanted to make sure everything is okay. PLEASE let me know if you need any help with anything!! You can even email me at ryanandamandajo@gmail.com
It is PowerPoint. :) It's just a newer version so the file is saved as .pptx instead of .ppt. If you can't get it to work for some reason, let me know! :) We will figure something out!!

Will there be a part 4? I love these. They save my life with CScope!
Absolutely there will be! I will have them done by this weekend for sure because I will need them soon! I am currently working on a problem solving unit. :)

Thank you you for your quick response. Your email explained everything! We don't use CSCOPE in our district but the foldables do go along perfectly with what we are teaching. I'm new to first grade and I'm responsible for planning our science. I will be purchasing more in the future! Thank you!
You are so very welcome! Let me know if I can help you with anything else! :)

stovallh re: Science Journal Flip Books Part 3 {17 Different Topics}
I do love your science foldables. However, I am not sure how to use some of the foldables. Examples: Cloud coverage-do you have words to match?; Types of Precipation-do you have words to match? Plants change seasons-do kids draw a plant thru seasons? Daytime and Nighttime-What do kids do? What Makes Daytime and Nighttime? Do they draw something? Day and Night Cycle? not sure.
Again, I do love them but just not sure how to use them? Thank you for your help!
I just realized that 2 of the foldables were missing the words to sort. I added those. I am SO sorry for that confusion! I also decided to add pictures for the Plants Changing with Season foldable.
Here is how I will be using the others...
Daytime and Nighttime-students draw activities that they do during the daytime and activities that they do during the nighttime
What Makes Daytime and Nighttime-the preview shows the foldable inside. Students will color the earth that is in daytime and that is in nighttime with appropriate colors.
Day and Night Cycle-Students will draw an activity that they do during each part of the cycle.
Do you use CSCOPE? If you do, these are aligned right with the lessons that they have for us in 1st grade. As you read through the lessons, each foldable will definitely make more sense on how to use them. If you don't use CSCOPE you can use the ideas I have listed above or you can be creative and have the students use them any other way that you need them to! :)
Does this help at all? If you have any other questions you are more than welcome to contact me on here or email me at ryanandamandajoATgmailDOTcom. I am happy to help! :)
I came across one of your items on Pinterest and I had to stop in to say how stinkin' cute your shop is!! You have some of the most creative units I have ever seen on here! The debug one is my favorite! :)
You are so sweet!! I have purchased your coin set of clipart because I thought it was the best out there! I searched for HOURS looking for the perfect set! Thank you, again, for your kind words!:)

Hi, I just wanted to thank you for the freebies pages. I will be purchasing some of your wonderful products as well. I also wanted to say I love your profile quote.
God Bless,

No, are you looking for something aligned with CSCOPE? Most of my products are 1st grade aligned and can be used for struggling 2nd graders.

Coconut Cuties (TpT Seller) re: AJ Fonts {for personal and commercial use}
Amanda, I tried to re-download this file to get the other 4 fonts and it is the same file as the last download (containing only 10 fonts). I think I am doing it correctly. Could you check it on your end and let me know? Thanks!
Hi! I'm not sure what's going on. The zip file on my computer has them all. Maybe I accidentally just re-uploaded the old one?? Anyway, I just re-uploaded the file real quick. When I open the zip file, all 14 fonts are there on my end. Let me know if it's not working still and I can try emailing it to you. I want you to be able to use them all! Thanks for letting me know! :)
I purchased this unit and love all the activities I have used so far! The only problem I am having is that every time I print the Coin Equivalent Values Flip Book there are huge black streaks all over the pages. I have tried to print this from several different printers and each time it does the same thing. I would really like to use this activity, but I have not been able to get a clean copy. Please help!
I know that when I open documents from my Mac they automatically open in "preview" instead of adobe. Even to view a document it is blurry sometimes. I will try emailing you just the flip book and will see if that helps any. I'd you dot have a Mac, then this is just strange! :) I will email you soon!!
You heard right! I have several items aligned with CSCOPE. All of the Grammar Warm-Ups (there are 4), Silly Soup, Pattern Pallooza, Monster Munch, Playful Poetry, Making "Cents" of Money, Winter Wonderland, and Science Foldables (there are 3 parts). The writing assessments (Build-a-_____) assess the writing traits that had been taught up to that time of year. Also, the Media Freebie and Timeline Freebie are parts that I used to teach those concepts. I hope this helps!!

susie lynn (TpT Seller) re: Science Journal Flip Books Part 3 {17 Different Topics}
May I have you e-mail address again it was deleted during a reboot. I need to ask you a couple of questions. Thanks
The Poetry unit, Winter Wonderland literacy work stations, and grammar are all aligned with CSCOPE. The Winter Wonderland goes exactly with Grammar Warm-Ups Part 3. I use the activities in it to introduce each weeks' concept. I have some freebies that I have used with other lessons and there are some freebies on my blog, too. :)
I TOTALLY know what you mean!! I already have them planned out and have started working on them. My goal is to have them complete by Saturday sometime. :)

susie lynn (TpT Seller) re: Grammar Warm-Ups Part 3
Do you have days 1-60? For c-scope grammar warm-ups?
Yes I sure do! They are labeled Grammar Warm-Ups part 1, and Grammar Warm-Ups part 2. Are they not coming up in my store? Let me know if you can't find them. :)

Mona Kaneshiro re: Build a Gingerbread Kid {a writing assessment for students}
I love your Build a .... Just bought the Gingerbread Kid. I was hoping for a snowman. I purchased your Scarecrow version. If it is okay with you, I may turn the Scarecrow into a snowman. I am NOT planning to sell it in any form. I want to keep it up past December.
That is a-okay! I REALLY appreciate you checking! It means a lot and says a lot about your character, too! :) Use the resource to best fit your needs! ;)

Do you have any resources available for the upcoming units in CSCOPE Science for first grade? I love your work!
Awe, you are so kind!! I do not have anything else for Science right now. I have been working on ELAR things and science has taken a backseat. I can for sure tell you that I will be making more foldables for Science journals, I'm just not sure how soon I can get them all done. :) (I normally make them as we use them in the classroom.) if you followe on here, you can be sure to get an email when I post them! Again, thanks for your sweet words! I'm happy to know that I can share with a CSCOPE friend!! :)

Mona Kaneshiro re: Build a Turkey {a writing assessment for students}
I love the turkey writing assessment. Do you have one for Winter Holidays - Christmas: snowman, reindeer, or Christmas tree?
I am working on one right now and hope it have it posted some time next week during some down time. I am working on a gingerbread man! My other thought was a snowman because both of those could stay up through January! :)

Mona Kaneshiro re: Build a Turkey {a writing assessment for students}
Hi
I love this. Can you tell me what the font is for the turkey feathers. I need to add something about neat writing.
Ya know, no it's not, but I could try to make it that way for you! Re-creating things is NO FUN! I know I can delete my words. If I can figure out how to make it editable for you (I used excell and powerpoint to make this), that would help you SOOO much! I have no problem playing with this and figuring it out. :)
Hi! I am a Kindergarten teacher here in Texas. I have a question for you. Does your school use CSCOPE for curriculum? If so, how long? Our district just rolled it out for us to begin using it. I love it, but many of my colleagues are overwhelmed and do not like it at all. Did anyone on your faculty have the same problems? Can you tell me how your school overcame the issues? Of course these questions are assuming you do use it. I really appreciate any help you can give me.
This is the "table of contents" page from the unit. Alphabet order is really simple, beginning of the year for 1st. It moves fast, but so does our curriculum. There are a lot of TEKS to cover each six weeks and this makes sure that I have touched on them. We do loop back around. The next set of 30 days takes this first 30 day foundation and adds to it. The sentence correction also grows. By the end, there are missing spaces, missing capital letters, and missing punctuation. Does this help? If not, please ask more questions! :)
Day 1-5: Alphabetic Order (TEK 1.1C)
Capital and Lowercase Letters (TEK 1.1B)
Day 6-10: Consonants and Vowels (TEK 1.1B)
Rhyming Words (TEK 1.2A)
Day 11-15: Nouns (TEK 1.6A)
Sentence Correction-using spaces (TEK 1.21A)
Day 16-20: Nouns-singular and plural (TEK 1.20Aii)
Sentence Correction-Capitalization (TEK 1.21B)
Day 21-25: Verbs (TEK 1.6A)
Sentence Correction-using periods (TEK 1.21C)
Day 26-30: Verbs-past, present, future (TEK 1.20Ai)
Sentence Correction-using question marks (TEK 1.21C)
**Pronouns-I, my, He (TEK 1.20AVi)
(integrated throughout the lessons to be taught as teacher sees fit)

palerider001 re: Grammar Warm-Ups
I really like your grammar warm up activities. Even though I am from Pennsylvania it looks like each day covers foundational literacy concepts. Do you have any additional activities for beyond 30 days? Thanks,
Nicki Aldrich
Oh, thank you! One of my best teaching friends taught in PA and I have family there! To answer you question, I am working on a second set of 30 days. They should be up by the end of next week. :)
Here is the table of contents for the next 30 days.
Day 31-35: Nouns –Common and Proper (TEK1.6A, 1.20Ai)
Sentence Correction- adding words (1.17C)
Day 36-40: Sorting Words into Conceptual Categories (1.6D)
Sentence Correction- deleting words (1.17D)
Day 41-45: Verbs- past tense (TEK 1.20Aii)
Sentence Correction-editing spelling (TEK 1.17D)
Day 46-50: Verbs- present and future tense (TEK 1.20Aii)
Sentence Correction-subject/verb agreement (TEK 1.21B)
Day 51-55: Adjectives ((TEK 1.20Aiii)
Sentence Correction-subject/verb agreement (TEK 1.21B)
Day 56-60: Adverbs ((TEK 1.20Aiv)
Sentence Correction-using exclamation marks (TEK 1.21C)

sckt27 re: 3 Ways to Read a Book
Have you thought about where you have Read the words of putting a picture of a book page like you have for Read the picture with the same pictures but include the words I see a sun. (picture of a sun)I see the tree. ( picture of a tree.) on the pages. Just an idea. Didn't know what font you used.
I was going to try and make it myself but I thought I would ask you first. You were so sweet to give this wonderful resource for free. Thank you.
Hi! You have a wonderful idea, but the picture is a clipart that I purchased. I can't change the clipart due to copyright laws. Thank you for your wonderful suggestion, though! :) I really do appreciate it!
