Buyer re: Multiplying Fractions and Whole Numbers - PowerPoint
Is this Number Sense 2.4 from California standards? Will there be mixed numbers multiplied by fractions, whole numbers x fractions, fractions x fractions?

Yes, it is. This powerpoint only has multiplying whole #s and fractions. I use this for a lesson on just that component of the standard. Hope that helps! :)

to make them...you only mix the ingredients? you don't have to melt the chocolate? I think my math class would love them...but I am not sure on actually making them...

Yep, I just had them measure everything out, dump it in mixing bowls and stir, form them into cookies on cookie sheets, then refrigerate. As long as you have a good system for doling out the ingredients to each group, it works pretty well. Some of my students didn't like the cookies at the end because they weren't "real" cookies, but most of them loved them! And they had so much fun doing it. :) Good luck!
