I am currently and Instructional Support Facilitator for Goochland County Public Schools, Mentorship/Induction Coordinator (K-12), and 1st Grade Lead Teacher. The past ten years have been spent teaching grades K-4 in both Goochland and Richmond Public Schools. I am a VCU certified supervisor of student teachers, Summer School Principal, District -Wide Lead Teacher, and have been District-Wide Science Lead teacher. Additionally, I have interned in classrooms in southern England as well as New York City. Recent Professional Experiences: Past Presenter for Richmond Area Reading Council and Virginia Area Reading Council (2012) as well as ”Cultivating the 21st Century Learner ”at the International Reading Assocation (2013).

I have an undergraduate degree from SUNY Fredonia in Elementary Education with a concentration in English. Began post graduate work at Plymouth University in Southern England. Additionally, received a M.ED in Educational Leadership/Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
