Glenn M. re: Oceanography Notes
Is there a matching powerpoint for this??
March 3, 2014
Thanks so much for the Oceanography note package, just had to take over for a teacher who is out sick. Never taught oceanography before. Question, do you have any PowerPoint to go with these notes? Any other resources, labs, activities etc? Thanks so much

Buyer re: Cloud Graphic Organizer
I'm having trouble with the cloud organizer. It opens in word and doesn't look at all like the preview. Am I doing something wrong?
I have very small margins on the document. You may want to adjust the boxes in the diagram and the margins. I downloaded a pdf version of this activity to TPT as well as the word document. If you are having formatting issues it may be better to use the pdf version instead. Just redownload the activity and it should have the new version attached. I also added a second page that is a fill in the blank for the concept map. I hope this helps!
This is a bit confusing because I think you are using black to show how much moon you see, rather than black to show the shadow on the moon? To me, this looks a little backwards because of that. At first, I thought it was actually incorrect. You may want to change this to an outline of the moon instead?
I'm so glad you contacted me! I've been meaning to update that file and you reminded me that I needed to get the revised copy uploaded. Please redownload this item and tell me what you think. I've added some new diagrams to the activity too. I hope you like it. Thanks again! [You were right about the moon phase color being reversed. I no longer have that diagram on the worksheets.] :)
I saw your store on the home page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. I left you a rating. Well done! My only suggestion is that you make a cver page so that you have an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers.
I hope you will have time to rate my latest free product listed below.
I recognize your name from reading threads on the seller's forum. Thanks so much for rating my product and commenting. I just added a cover page to this product. Would you check it out and tell me what you think? I downloaded your freebie, commented and added myself as your 108th follower (Wow!). Good luck to you as well!
Hi! I purchased several of your earth science listings. I was surprised to find that some of your notes directly follow the textbook I am using. Do you base them on a textbook or just a logical order of information?
It's a combination of the two, but the textbook I use as a guide is a Prentice Hall textbook.

My name is Jack Dennison. I am the Editor-in-Chief of www.FunnelBrain.com, an educational website. I am writing to you because the quality of the work you have posted to PTP distinguishes you as a talented author. I am looking for teacher-authors to create custom study review materials for FunnelBrain (on a paid basis, of course).
These study materials would take the form of online flashcards, quizzes, and study guides for high school and college level courses, as well as for certain standardized exams such as the GMAT, the SAT or the GRE. We are also interested in lesson plans built around activities that can take place on www.FunnelBrain.com.
If you are interested in a paid writing assignment, please email me at email@example.com, and I will respond with details on the available assignments. In the meantime, please feel free to browse FunnelBrain.com.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Buyer re: The Universe: The Life and Death of a Star Video Questions
Is this for the Universe series that was on and sold through the History Channel?
I just wanted to tell you that I like your storyboard template idea & will be using it in my classroom. I teach Computer & this looks like so much fun. I will let you know what I did & how it turned out. I teach Computer in Lawrence, KS.
Arlene, I'm glad you like the storyboard template. I teach Earth Science and have my students write a story about the rock cycle or water cycle from the perspective of a rock or water droplet. They then illustrate what happened in their story. I look forward to hearing how you use it. Raleigh, NC Amy
