I use them on the smartboard to display lesson or unit titles and I also use them to make my TPT product titles stand out! You can simply insert the image into a WORD document and choose the layout option "behind text" so you can type on top of it! Hope this helped :)

I'm really not sure why it's not allowing you to put it into Word. I have tried it on both the new and old versions of Microsoft Word and it's not giving me any issues. Maybe try to insert it as an image file rather than just dragging and dropping. You might have to find to a computer wiz in your school or a friend that can help you. It might be a setting you have on your computer. I'm really sorry I don't know how to solve your problem!
