TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Substitute Teaching since 2004. Worked as lead Preschool Teacher in a private center for four years. Worked as paraprofessional in an At-Risk Preschool for five years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I enjoy finding out how a student learns best. I love getting students excited about learning.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

None professionally as of yet, but there cannot be any greater award than when I walk down the hall on my way to my assignment and several students are disappointed when I have to tell them I am not subbing in their room that day.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Currently in Graduate Classes. Bachelor of Arts, major in English minor in Elementary Education from Grand Valley State University 2005. Child Development Associates Certification from Grand Rapids Community College 1993. Associate in Arts, major in Journalism from Grand Rapids Community College 1997.
