I paid for Let's Have a Math Carnival and I noticed the writing on some of the pages is missing on the downloaded copy. There are just black shaded boxes where I think the writing should be. How can this be fixed? Thanks!

Yes, it is like that. The kids bring in a good that they are willing to part with - they will not get it back unless they purchase it, so you have to make that clear. I have tables set up that are labeled with how much the item costs - 10 cents, 25 cents, etc. The children then bring in money from home to purchase their items. I have parent helpers for this. We use the money collected to either pay for an end-of-year celebration or purchase something that we need for our school. We decide as a class. The children love having a garage sale. No, probably not independently. Most Henry and Mudge books that I have are above a 2.0. The comprehension activities that I included can be completed if you read-aloud the book, however. If you look at Scholastic Book Wizard, you can search by level and find books that would fit your needs, and then search TPT for something that would work. I hope this helps! :)

Hi Beth. I use Microsoft Word, although there are a lot of cute "doodle" borders on Etsy and other sites. In Word, go to Format (at the top), then choose Borders and Shading and then it will take you to the borders page and you can choose a page border. I'm glad the unit was helpful for you! :)
