My Own Educational History

I graduated from Union University in Jackson, TN, with a degree in Elementary and Middle School Education in 2000. I graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University with a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in 2004. I am very interested in getting my doctoral degree - we'll see when I embark on that journey.

Additional Biographical Information

I love frogs (fake frogs of course) and my favorite color is green - these are the two things that students learn about me really fast. While at St. Bethlehem Elementary I painted my classroom green and had frogs everywhere, which the students really enjoyed. I did not paint my classroom at Barkers Mill Elementary due to being at a new school, however I did have frogs everywhere. My students have contributed to my frog collection each year. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, working out at the YMCA and watching movies. I attend Grace Community Church where I teach Kindergarten Sunday School, lead a small group of youth as a life coach and am a part of a small group Bible study.
