The unit is beautifully presented and very varied, with wider applications than just war poetry itself. It's very nice. However, I found two very obvious and serious errors in the poems. I am familiar with these poems because they are two I use in the War Poetry unit that I have been teaching for many years. I e-mailed the seller on March 24 (this is April 22) and have not received a reply that the necessary revisions have been made. I am disappointed that this nicely done product hasn't been updated to reflect the obvious needed corrections.

I have to say that I really like your War Poetry Unit. It is graphically very clean - I like that a lot! - and you have packed it with great ideas that go beyond the classroom into life! I teach a major War Poetry unit and I came to your site looking for supplemental materials.
Before I rate your packet, I wanted to point out two errors in two poems.
The first error is in "Dulce et Decorum Est" in line 3. The word "out" should read "our."
The second error is more critical. You are missing line 9 in "Suicide in the Trenches." The line should read:
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
I am sure you will agree that this line is absolutely necessary to the poem's sense!
I trust you will make these changes; then I will give you a glowing review for a great product.

Does this guide offer suggestions as to which parts of the text teachers should be focusing on and emphasizing? I am a first year teacher, and I was given a class and told to teach Shakespeare. I admit that Shakespeare is not a strong point of mine, and I'm fearful that I am not focusing on the most important lines from the play. I am just kind of picking out lines that speak to me, but I'm looking for some guidance on choosing sections of the text that help teach.
I wish teachers would post their notes in the margins of their books next to passages because I'm fearful I'm missing the most important details!

may I ask why you call these lessons? They are activities that go along with lessons, but not lessons. I was going to leave this in feedback, but wanted to give you an opportunity to respond first. I have been a librarian for 18 years and was looking for some new lesson ideas. I am disapointed in my purchase.

I have bought a number of your resources and find your work extremely thorough and user friendly. I am also in awe at the extent of your knowledge of texts and drama. Do you have or are you planning a unit on Witness, The story of Tom Brennan? Also this is the first year I am teaching HSC Drama - any resources directly related to Individual or Group projects would be appreciated. I will buy them of course!
