I purchased this "Sentence Bowl" center about six months ago. I downloaded it to my home computer, and I still have a copy there. The problem is, I need to somehow get it on to my school computer to print it out. I have tried unsuccessfully to email it to myself ( message says the file it too large). Additionally, it does not show up under my purchases. Is there a time frame that they display purchases? How can I download a copy to my school computer? Hope you can help!

I always kept my centers in a crate, but you could also file them in a file box (one made to hold folders) by subject if you have a lot. I did many of mine in manila envelopes instead of folders, because that way I didn't have to worry about pieces falling out. I don't think I have anything for main idea and details. I'll make that my next project!

That is a Microsoft Publisher file. You don't have to have that to use the game. It just allows you to customize the cards with text of your choice.

I just used your awesome constellation graphing activity with my 5th graders. They loved it! I loved it! I was just wondering if maybe I am looking at it wrong. For the constellation, Draco the dragon, should the coordinates (22,8) be (22,9), the coordinates (23,8) be (23,9), & the coordinates (23,6) be (23,7) instead? This appears to be the way your key reads, but I may be looking at it wrong. Once again, I loved this activity & the kids did too! Awesome lesson!

Is on of those two triangles supposed to be cut out, to show just the word, for example, then the student answers with the definition? On the other circle, do the students write the word in the same little box where it says "word 1"? I love this, but would love it more if directions were included with the templates, and were clearer, so I don't have to spend time playing with it to understand. On the other hand, it could be that I've had a long day, or it's just my brain being slow! Either way, please clarify, then I'll be happy to provide feedback!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been a public school teacher in a highly respected district in the Atlanta metro area for the past 12 years. I have taught very diverse students, usually all together in one group! After teaching fourth grade for ten years, I am now teaching a computer lab special to 3 and 4 year olds, and loving it! I am also the technology coordinator for my public, special needs school. You never know what changes life will bring!

My aim is to grow every student, whether a student is excelling or struggling. I strive to address many different learning styles and multiple intelligences in my lessons so that I can reach students where they are.
