I needed something for St. Patrick's Day and found this Readers Theater lesson. My students enjoyed reading it and it was very accurate to the book. I thought that it cost a bit too much but I bought it!

Thanks so much for your purchase! I'm thrilled that your students enjoyed
the Readers Theater. I've taught grades 1 through HS for over 20 years and
I know my former students enjoyed them. I'm job hunting at the moment, so I
try to do some writing to keep busy and to feel useful! :)
I just finished writing and uploading another RT onto the site for "Keep
the Lights Burning Abbie" by Peter and Connie Roop (Guided Rdg Level K/L)
this week. There's one on the site I wrote for "Why Mosquitoes Buzz in
Peoples Ears", too!
I'd like to share that I did write these three myself and each take between
4 and 5 hours (so about $2.50 an hour for writing!). Additionally, the TpT
site charges 40% commission as well as a 40c user fee for each item, so the
$10.00 price reflects just over $5.00 earnings for any writer or submitter.
It's certainly not a get-rich-quick scheme, but it's a good feeling to know
that my efforts are being used and enjoyed in schools and by teachers and
students somewhere!

I am very disappointed with this product. I bought it based on the preview and description which said it was a "two week unit". The entire document is the definitions which are in the preview and then some very basic templates for each type of poem. There is no content to cover. It would have been more practical if this seller had actually provided lesson plans or materials to accompany the templates.

I will send to you to help compensate your sense of loss. To consider: do you work for less than $2.00 an hour? That's the income for one download after commisions and fees. My guess is you're employed and want to download and print things that save you time...I already put in the time, more than a few hours (a week to write and prepare a unit and two to teach it) when this was taught, and am working to pay bills without a job. Districts in my state are having to cut 6 to 8 million dollars per year, so jobs are very difficult to come by if you have any experience at all. Please understand I post to help out teachers who might need ideas or plans, but my time and experience are worth much more than I can charge. Thanks for understanding.

there are only 5 questions where are the rest of them This was not worth the $3.00 and I would like a refund. Thanks but no thanks when I put together a literature unit I do it by chapter with vocab etc. What a waste.

This one page, 6 question overview was listed for high level, but primary age readers and are intended for group discussion...this is not and was not advertised as a unit or a chapter by chapter unit. Customer Zicchardi perhaps did not read the description or view the preview, or the duration of 1 class period.

The activity is okay, but it is only ONE PAGE and NOT WORTH $5.00!!!!! I am very disappointed at how much I paid for this item. The text is quite repetitive and I'm not sure it would hold the students' attention. I would not recommend the purchase.

This digital file was confused with another larger file when loading...the description has been rewritten to reflect that it is a one page group reader's theater for PRIMARY readers, and is now free if anyone wishes to download it. Customer was sent reimbursement files for her unit as the mistake was mine.
