I'm glad you love the power points. I have already made power points for lessons 1-14, and will be uploading them a few at a time. I should have some more uploaded very soon. I will also be creating power points for lessons 15-20, and will be uploading those as well. Thank you for your kind words.

(4/11) I have been working in education since 2005. I have been a T.A., Paraprofessional, Substitute, and Classroom Teacher. I have worked with affluent families, children with severe special needs, students who are identified as GATE, and many Second Language Learners. I am currently finishing my third year as a second grade teacher in a progressive and exciting charter school. ***UPDATE*** (11/12) In an effort to work more closely with students and families, I have made the difficult decision to transition to Homeschool. I have spent the last year as a Homeschool Supervising Teacher for charter schools in Ventura County. I love working with the wide span of students (K-8) and getting to know their families on such a personal level.
I would definitely call myself an "out of the box" teacher. Charter schools are where my heart belongs. I love to design my own curriculum. Currently my grade level has created original unit plans and curriculum for Readers' Workshop and Writers' Workshop. We were even asked to present our original ideas at the CA Charter School Conference. I have also designed and implemented original grammar and phonics curriculum for all students in grades 1-3 at my current school.
