I think it would be. My only concern would be that some of the earlier ones would be a little too easy, because they do get progressively harder. If you find that they're too easy, you can email me, and I'll send you the word version of an older file that is very similar but has a few more challenging problems.

I've just played around with the visual plans this spring, but I do plan to use them consistently at the beginning of the year. I use PowerPoint to make my visual plans. I added a table for my basic layout and went from there.
I like to start math with Place Value, and I use my Splash into Place Value lessons. We'll spend a week or two studying forms of numbers, place value, and the value of numbers. In reading, I start with basic comprehension strategies, because I feel that those basics are so important for everything we do the rest of the year. I use my Comprehension Strategies for Reading Workshop for those lessons. Then in writing, I start with personal narratives and use Writing Workshop with Gooney Bird Greene for those lessons. Hi there! I just bought your common core packet for multiplication and division. It is great! However, when the pages are not all printing out correctly. There are some activities that print out almost with spacing errors, or page errors. I believe I have the newest adobe update downloaded already. Is there something I can do to get the pages to print correctly. Sorry to be a bug. Thanks for your assistance.

The two things I know to do are make sure Adobe is updated. I have to make sure my Adobe is completely closed and then open the file again, and I have to double check to make sure it's not opening in preview. If that doesn't work, you'll definitely want to contact TpT directly, because they offer incredible technical support and are way better with printing issues than I am:) There is a "contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

We began working on it last week and found 2 mistakes on the Division Sudoku choice board page from the Operations and Algebraic Thinking domain. I believe the last problem on the top row should be 24 / ___ = 4 and the second problem on the last row should be 45 / ___ = 9. Please let me know if I am mistaken.

I don't worry about having the books from the same series as much as I do from the same author. Today, we're reading Bats at the Beach, and we've already read a few Bats at... books, and we're going to compare those books. For a chapter book, I highly recommend Gooney Bird Greene, and I love using Patricia Polacco for picture books.

This year I've used your Third Grade Weekly Work Problems and I love them. I just found out I might be moving to second grade next year. I noticed you have part of the school year complete for second grade. I was wondering if you will bundle them like you did the third grade set? Thanks!

Hey Ashleigh, I have been searching for one of your products in your tpt store. It's a creative writing/journal prompts packet you made for your students to work on after completing the CRCT. In your description you mentioned that your students use a notebook to write their journal entries in,but next year you plan to make copies of the packet and send it in for binding. I had it in my shopping cart a few weeks ago, but accidentally deleted it. Can you please tell me what's the name of this product? I think the cost was about $9-$15. Oh, and I did purchase the Math Culminating activities packet, so it isn't that. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I think that this may be what you're thinking of, but I'm not sure. It's journal prompts, but I did use them before and after the CRCT. This is what I plan to have bound next year though. Let me know if this isn't it, and I'll try again!

A culminating activity can have almost any look. It just needs to be thorough and assess multiple standards. You can see an example of the first culminating on the first three thumbnails in the preview. That is the culminating activity for the Operations and Algebraic Thinking Standards.

I have been using your assessments all year and love them, however I have found many mistakes in your answer key. 4.0A.1 #2 is incorrect, 4.0A.2#1 and #2 incorrect, 4.0A.3 #3 is incorrect. Not sure how many more, usually I do not use the answer key but I would definitely check these answers out.......
