Hi. I like your free worksheet, thank you! I was looking carefully and I noticed that there are 2 "r" controlled vowels and a long "e" for be. Are these supposed to be left uncolored? Thank you!

As a first grade teacher, I read the problems to them to start off with. They are very simple though. I was able to use them throughout the year without any problems and I have low readers. This is a brand new book (I owned a teacher store)
Here is a sample problem:
Rosie has 8 pencils. Draw the number of pencils to show how many Rosie has.
You can also go here : http://www.teachercreated.com/products/daily-warm-ups-problem-solving-math-grade-1-3575 and click on "Sample Pages" and it will show you a sample of the page :)
If you have any other questions, I will gladly answer :)

We do three or four small groups... but everyone is playing the same game...and I have other levels for d.i....we also put the pieces in a bag and students pass the bag and draw a card. You would need to print multiple copies :) I will upload the harder versions of this game :)

I also need to purchase the MAIN IDEA Posters, but I was wondering if you can change the red to another color that you have not used in the reading strategy collection I just purchased. I believe you used red for Author's Purpose. Also, can you make a theme poster. I have been working on our first reading unit, which is going to focus on main idea, theme, and author's purpose. My definition of theme is the message of the story ;D. I really appreciate your help. I am trying to print and laminate all of the posters before the end of the month. Thank you.
