I reviewed the file after reading your comment, but was not able to find a mistake on any of the cards. However, if you will let me know which card, I will certainly double check it and fix it if needed. I've looked at the file so many times, it's possible that I am just overlooking the error. If changes are made, you will be able to download a corrected version without having to purchase it again.

These were so awesome! We jsut celbrated our 100th day this past week and I set them up around the room. I printed and laminated the colorful checklist, so each child had one. When they completed a center, they showed me their work and I marked off their card with a dry erase marker. When they finished each center, they got their 100th prize. I simply erased each card after they were done, packed them away with the center card labels and I am ready to go for next year! I can't wait to do these next year.

I am sorry you're having printing issues. Try downloading it again. You don't have to purchase it again, just redownload it. Perhaps there was a hiccup the first time you downloaded the file. Also be sure you've updated to the most current version of Adobe Reader. That is the most common cause of problems printing PDFs. I also found a post by another blogger that addresses this issue and shows you step by step how to fix it. I have a Dewey Decimal PowerPoint available for download on lmy blog, but I don't currently have the scavenger hunt available for download. What I did was make questions about different areas of the nonfiction section and students had to go to the correct nonfiction section to find the next clue. They would scan a code they found at the section they thought matched the clue and the code would show them a picture that told them if they were correct or not. Then they could pick up the next clue if they were correct. Some of the questions in the hunt were "You are curious about a tree you found growing in your grandmother's backyard. What nonfiction section would you go to in order to find a book that might help you find more information about the tree?" "You watched a show about Big Foot on television and now you would like to know more. What nonfiction section might have books that could tell you more about this mysterious creature?" Hope that helps. =)
