I have been a teacher for an amazing 18 years! I have had the privilege of working with children from PreK through third grade as well as teaching special needs preschool and elementary students. My experiences have taken me from Illinois to Iowa and now to North Carolina.
My classroom is a fun, energetic, family-style classroom. We work and play hard, laugh a lot, and try to make school a safe and exciting place to be. I had a hard time as an elementary student, so I try to be as encouraging and helpful to my students as I can be. I believe that we can learn from our mistakes as well as our successes, and I strive to help children see that learning is something they will do their entire lives.
