Thank you so much for your quick response! I really appreciate your understanding of my question and so appreciate the time you took to respond! : )
Your unit sounds great and full of fun activities that can be used different ways! I can only imagine the time you spent making the unit and the talent you must have to create. I appreciate your sharing it on TPT. I would be very grateful to see a few more pictures if you don't mind. My email is cja1st@gmail.com Thanks so much! :) Warmly, Cindy

I have just discovered your store and your winter math activities look so fun! May I ask how many activities are in your unit? The price is a little higher than I usually spend on TPT and I just want to be sure that I am getting tons for the money. Thanks for understanding my reason for asking.

Thank you for the question. Believe me, I do understand!!! I am new to sharing and selling so I am still trying to figure out the pricing too. I appreciate your thoughts and feedback so that I can get the quality and the price right.

In this set, you get a total of eight tasks, several of which could be used over multiple days/lessons or expanded. I described them more fully below- at the bottom of this note.

I hope that helps! If you would like more info or pictures/samples, I will be happy to send you more. I want to get the price right as well, so if you feel I have it marked too high, please share what you think would be a better price. As I said, I'm new to this and want to do well- would like to fine the "right price" and not overcharge or undercharge.

I really appreciate you writing to me! If I can do anything else to help, PLEASE don't hesitate to contact me!

It includes:
-a set of "snow globe" # cards from 1- 100 (six snowglobes on a page to help you get an idea of their size) plus a snowman/girl and the directions for four games you could play with those cards.

-a page of blank snowmen that you could print out and write number words on for your students to match #s in standard form to word form. That includes a recording sheet for them to use with that task also.

-odd/even tens frames for #s 1-20

-odd/even snowflake # sort for #s 0-20 plus a page of blank snowflakes for teachers in upper grades to program with larger numbers (I hate getting something and not having everything I need, so I wanted to give teachers the ability to make this perfect for their students' needs.) This also has a recording sheet for students to use in the task. I plan to use this as a small group mini-lesson and then as a learning station for independent work.

-a making numbers sort with #s 1-20 (covers showing numbers in standard, word, expanded forms as well as with tally marks and coins) - This could be used over several days and in a variety of ways- small group, whole group, learning stations, even homework. I included a blank page of snowflakes, again for differentiation.

- a number web/graphic organizer that works well with the making numbers sort (with a completed example)

-tally mark scavenger hunt with recording sheet for #s 1-20

-skip counting cards for 2s, 5s, & 10s (up to 100) with extra blanks included for additional skip counting tasks

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a teacher for an amazing 18 years! I have had the privilege of working with children from PreK through third grade as well as teaching special needs preschool and elementary students. My experiences have taken me from Illinois to Iowa and now to North Carolina.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My classroom is a fun, energetic, family-style classroom. We work and play hard, laugh a lot, and try to make school a safe and exciting place to be. I had a hard time as an elementary student, so I try to be as encouraging and helpful to my students as I can be. I believe that we can learn from our mistakes as well as our successes, and I strive to help children see that learning is something they will do their entire lives.
