My students liked this! I would say it is best for French II or higher - too many unkown words for October in French I. It can basically take as much or as little time as you want it to - I just devoted one class period (French II) to answering the questions and sharing with the class (and eating candy of course). They did very well with it.

My students are taught the near future in level 1, so they don't have the vocabulary to say all these things. They are still working with very limited, memorized phrases and short sentences. The creativity that this exercise needs just isn't present in my level one students. Having said that, I can use it with my level 2s but even then it's kind of a stretch.

Suggestion - Consider adding your name to the files you upload and the copyright symbol so that it makes it a tiny bit harder for someone else to pass off your work as their own. (Perhaps in the margin or footer?)
