It took me years to compile this information on poetic meter and rhyme. Rhyme is often very confusing to students, and so I have constructed a sort of rhyme chart where alliteration, assonance, and consonance are all seen as part of a rhyme continuum. Examples are provided. Excellent especially for the AP classroom.
