Thanks! We do the chair activity first and go around, over, etc... Then, students go on a preposition walk. If it rains and I can't change plans, I give groups copies of a larger campus map and we use markers to illustrate walks. Either way, they enjoy it!

Beth, You have a great idea. However, there are too many graphics and not enough space for prewriting. Also, as students write their plot, it would be helpful to label the rising action, climax, falling action, etc... I urge you to reivise this and make this a resource that every classroom teacher would love to have.

All the PowerPoints have been converted to PDF because of copyright issues and for presentation purposes. They look polished once converted to PDF and used in front of audiences. They also print to fit the page once converted to PDF.
To copy the info over to ppt format, save the file. open the pdf and use the copy tool on the toolbar to paste into a new presentation. If this option is not available to you let me know, and I will try to send the file to you in another format.
