Can those answers be hidden when students view it (like an erase & reveal), or do you just want them to see the answers right away. I just bought your PPT on cause and effect and it is very appealing. Could you please explain the Stargirl statements? Is there a celebrity, cartoon, book, or character I should know about to make the connections? Is this a character you invented? I just didn't quite connect to that part. Some of the slides are totally blank. Also, I wanted to add some additional signal words - will I be able to add them to your PPT with the same font? Thank you for the colorful PPT.

I did not realize that I had the Stargirl version of this powerpoint uploaded. Stargirl is the protagonist in a young adult novel of the same name. I have now uploaded the "generic" version of the cause and effect powerpoint. You should be able to download this most recent upload as the "updated" version. There should be no blank slides, and yes, you may add to the PPT. Thank you so much for alerting me to this mistake.

I use this activity to help them relate to someone with cognitive impairments (as is the protagonist in the story). The questions are bizarre, with no correct answer, as are some "normal" questoins to those with diminished cognitive abilities. Basically, it's simply used to intrigue them to allow them to question and predict events in the plot.

Before I send you a BAD RATING I want you to know that I would NOT have purchased a powerpoint with ONLY nine slides. I am extremely disappointed with the LACK of information that is on these slides. I would appreciate a credit, as I will NOT be able to use this because it does not have adequate information.

I'm sorry you are disappointed with this powerpoint. The preview clearly shows the 9 slides, and they are full of information on each of the tribes. The description states that it is an introduction to your unit. Most of my powerpoints are $6.00, and this one is $4.00 because it is shorter in length. Again, I am sorry you were disappointed, but I cannot give you a refund. You will have to go through the website and request one.

I have no real vocabulary program available for our 7th graders. What exactly would I need to use your PowerPoints for Wordly Wise? Would I just need a Teacher's Resource or a student book, or would I need to purchase the entire program? Is this first or second edition? I'm just curious. I work for DoDDS at Aviano M/H School teaching the children of military on Aviano Air Force Base. I'm getting ready to purchase many of your wonderful materials. I've used the Shampoo one and The Giver....and I can't wait to use the others. Thanks for creating all this so that I don't have to!
