I have taught 6th grade self-contained (all subjects) and 8th grade Language Arts and Social Studies/History. One of my favorite subjects is Comparative World Religions and I have several years experience teaching this subject.

Everything RESEARCH! I love to set students up to explore and then guide them as they discover the answers on their own. This allows each student room to find their way through the problem and makes the assignment their own.

My favorite teacher taught me how to locate the countries of the world by SIGHT. He also taught me a love for Steinbeck and for all sorts of non-fiction books. I have my Masters of Education in Adult Education and Distance Learning and am currently working on my 2nd masters degree, this time in Psychology.

My husband is a high school band teacher here in Arizona. We have two kids, both of whom are growing up so fast that we can hardly keep up!
