I'm working on one that lets the students make a printed message for the press by setting their own type. This was an interesting time in history. It was like the Internet is for us today.

the game is fantastic and appeals to the students, I use the projector to use it for the whole class. This allows for some movement on their part. I will let them make flash cards from the lists of explorers as well.

Sorry, It's only audio. In my wildest dreams I would love to see some visuals to correspond with the audio, (I retired before I got it done.) Jack Cone was a radio production manager in Atlanta(now living in Portland OR) and has a voice to wish for. We still do a lot of PowerPoints and sync them up with his voice for companies looking for tutorials or Internet presence.
In a geography class ask students if they are up to the challenge of providing visuals. Try using movie maker or Imovie. There are great tutorials for both programs.

There is a rubric included but you may see value in other places. It's a great way to let the students be creative with history or geography. Everyone wants to make a music video. We did it in teams of two or three students and it was always fun to let them hook-up to the smart board to show their stuff. There is a rubric included but you may see value in other places. It's a great way to let the students be creative with history or geography. Everyone wants to make a music video. We did it in teams of two or three students and it was always fun to let them hook-up to the smart board to show their stuff. You can have a lot of fun with this and offer some scaled down MTV awards for the top five videos or PowerPoints. Let me know if this helps!

Be sure you have the free Flash Player on your computer. Go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ Once you get there unclick the McAfee add on and then once you have it downloaded close your browser and then install the free Flash Player. Then open up the swf file once you unzip it. I also have this on my website at http://flashnhistory.com/China/China.swf I also just posted the Dynastic Cycle at http://flashnhistory.com/China/Mandate.swf Be sure to let me know if I can help you more.
