This mini poster visual is a perfect way to help your students learn how to spell the /k/ sound at the beginning of a word/syllable, and also with the sc- and sk- blends. Teach the rhyme, "K goes with I and E, C before the other 3: A, O, U" for spelling words that begin with the hard c /k/ sound. Otherwise, when C is followed by Watch Out Vowels I, E, and Y, it says the soft /s/ sound!
