The great thing about applesauce is that you don't need precise measurements to make it taste great. How much you'll use will depend on the size of your class/crock-pot. For a larger class/crock pot I'd use a whole bag of apples (the kind that come pre-packaged at your grocery store). I had each student do 1 TBSP of brown sugar...I think altogether it was about a cup and a half. Hope this helps.

I am a CI self contained teacher & only have 7-12 kiddos a year, so my methods may be a bit different than yours but I've found that putting all of my small copies of color readers and b/w in the plastic file sleeve behind my own purchased file folder with all the pre-made paper activities to go with the lesson.

Hi there, I love this design! I was under the impression that this could be used for the smart board, but it only seems to be set up for power point...am I missing something? I'd love for the kids to be able to manipulate each part.

Hmm...I have a starboard & as long as I have a powerpoint in regular "edit" mode my kids can manipulate it just as they would with any other starboard file...you just can't move pieces in "slideshow" mode. If your smartboard will allow you to do things like clicking on websites (such as starfall) & work then the powerpoint should work for you. Let me know if it doesn't work for you this way.

1. Folder Page: I use the pages titled: "substitute plan for..." as my folder cover pages. If you would like I can make one that says Substitute Folder, please jot me a note back if that would work better for you.
2. Customizable Page: The customizable page should be at the end of your packet. You will need to print it out & hand-write your information on it or print out the page and then feed it back through your printer with the information you want on a page with 1.5 margins set in your page setup.

SQUEEKA21 re: BEE (bring everything everyday) Folder Covers
Hello! I love the concept of a B.E.E Binder/Folder. I was wondering if these signs can be edited to say B.E.E Binder as opposed to folder. I used B.E.E binders last year in my classroom and they were such a great organization tool for the kiddos.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
1 year in preschool, and 6 years in kindergarten both half and full day. Now I teach in a self-contained Moderately Cognitively Impaired Classroom for K-2 students.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
I received my undergraduate degree in elementary education with math and English minors and an early childhood endorsement. While teaching I also slowly took classes and received my Master's degree in Early Childhood Developmental Delays with a Cognitively Impaired endorsement.
ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
I am a new "blushing" bride and am loving finding a balance between my home and school life. Luckily my husband loves the teacher in me...even if he thinks I go a little overboard sometimes. :)
