Hello,

I bought your California, Here We Come! project and am excited to introduce it to my 8th graders. I read where you said you were working on a non-internet-based version and would be willing to email it. If that is still the case, I'd like to have it. My email is russell.suzanne.b@muscogee.k12.ga.us. Thank you! Suzanne

I have to be honest, no one has ever asked for it and so I stopped working on it a while ago. But since I offered it, I will be happy to finish it for you! When will you be starting on this in class? It might take me a couple days to get it finished but I'm moving as fast as possible :)

**Edited**
I finished the distance chart and although it's not formatted beautifully, it has been emailed to you!

Kristin Coats  (TpT Seller) re: TI-83 & TI-84 Graphing Calculator Practice (with Student/Teacher Guide)
On the answer key for the Operations with Mixed Numbers, the problems don't match up with the ones on the worksheet. They're the same problems, just in a different order. It threw me for a loop when we started grading in class today. It was no big problem once I figured it out, just thought I'd let you know so it could be fixed for future downloads.

Thank you SO much for letting me know. Since you pointed out the error, I decided to make some formatting changes to the entire document while I was working on it. Please expect a new upload by tomorrow evening. Many of the problems will likely have changed as I use excel formulas so if you download the new file with a different name, you will have a second set of questions for your students!

I received your comment last night and (I believe) figured out the problem. I uploaded a new version yesterday to the TPT site. Please try redownloading the file and seeing if you can print now. If the error is NOT fixed please feel free to comment here or email me at brianne@breezethroughmath.com and I will attempt to identify the error.

Amy Abbott at Music a la Abbott  (TpT Seller) re: 50 Great Ideas For Use After State Testing
I just bought your Tic Tac Toe Game, LOVE it!!! I have been trying to figure out how to do the X/O option. Any chance you'd share how you did that? Or point me in the right direction?

Breeze Through Math  (TpT Seller)
It wasn't easy :) I'd be happy to give you some pointers but I'd prefer to do it privately through email. When you get a chance shoot an email to brianne@breezethroughmath.com and I'll try to explain what I did!

Heather C. re: Math Stamp Activities
Hi! I sent Stamp Activities to my district's print shop. They are requiring that I provide them with a copyright release to copy for class set. I didn't see one in the download, can you please provide me with one?

Breeze Through Math  (TpT Seller)
Sure, no problem! I just got your email and I'll send it to you this evening. I've never had this come up before so I'll have to write one up to send you :) If you need it immediately (before 9pm tonight) please let me know via email.

Buyer re: Tic-Tac-Toe PowerPoint Game Template
It's me again... OK, when I download this at home, it's fine. When I open in on our laptop at school, it gets "corrupted". I don't know... what do you think?
September 4, 2012
Breeze Through Math  (TpT Seller)
Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you! I have two thoughts:
1) Maybe it's the version of Powerpoint. For example, you might have Office 2007 at home and 2003 at school. If they're different versions and you need me to make it compatible, just let me know what version your school computer has and I'll fix the issue for you
2) You might have different Operating Systems (like a Mac at school and Windows at home).

If it's neither of these let me know and I'll keep trying to think of something for you. I want to make sure it works for you! You can also email me (brianne@breezethroughmath.com).

Buyer re: Tic-Tac-Toe PowerPoint Game Template
I'm having a problem when I download this. On the title page, the "toe" word gets weird. I'm afraid to make up any of the games until I figure out what's wrong. Any ideas?
September 4, 2012
Breeze Through Math  (TpT Seller)
Oh, forgot to mention - sometimes the "Toe" looks strange and is pressed onto a second line in the editing, but when you start the slideshow it works fine. If not, however, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Do you have the font "cambria" installed on your computer?

Buyer re: 5 in 1 Fraction Activities
It was very kind of you to offer to redo this activity with reduced fractions, but I will let my students decide if there is more work to do. I had already downloaded, copied it onto cardstock, and laminated the game so it would last!

Renee Bogacz  (TpT Seller) re: Cheating Survey
I just downloaded the Cheating Survey -- looks fantastic! I'd like to re-type it as a Goggle survey. MaY I get permission to do this if I also give credit to you as the creator of the original survey?

jody manley  (TpT Seller) re: 50 Great Ideas For Use After State Testing
Good Morning, I'm looking at your freebie: 50 Great Activities, and most of the links do not seem to work. (IE the ones for the sample place mat and flour babies)
May 20, 2012
Breeze Through Math  (TpT Seller)
So sorry about that. It looks like there was a problem when I converted to pdf. I've fixed the problem (I believe) and re-uploaded. If you download it again the links should be working. If for some reason they still don't work for you, let me know and I'll send you a list of the links via email!

Kristi re: Fraction Getting to Know You
I need to prepare a 30 minute Demo 8th Grade lesson based on common core. Any ideas? I'm currently a Reading Specialist being displaced next year and have an opportunity to return to teaching math. Thx.

Did you want it based on this fraction activity or on another standard? You choose a topic and I'm sure I can help you out with something :)

Breeze Through Math  (TpT Seller)
I just send the two files to your email address. I hope that they will work better for you than the first time. Again, thank you for letting me know about the problem and please let me know if you have any issues with the new games!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a certified Math/Science teacher. I started teaching in the NC public school system for 4 years, followed by 4 years of private school education in PR. When my son was born I "retired" from teaching and started a math tutoring business in my home so I could be with him during the daytime. 17 months later we welcomed boy/girl twins and so I'm a full-time mom and part-time worksheet creater.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching approach to math is that you need some hands-on activities to keep them interested, some repetition to keep it in their memory, a lot of patience to keep yourself sane, and a lot of energy to keep up with them.
