You probably one it on one of the many giveaways I've done on it or let others put it up for a giveaway. Please e-mail me at tigermagic@bellsouth.net and I will e-mail it to you. Since it's all together easiest that I just e-mail you the full file and you can print the one page.

Hi Brian~ You may already know this, but thought I should mentioned it just to be sure. My para was cutting and laminating one of your activities for me this week and she found an error. It was in the Place Value Go Fish portion of your Patriotic Owl Place Value. It is in the set of four owls for 67,436 - 60,000 + 1,000 + 400 + 30 + 6 = The thousands should be 7 not 1. Have a great weekend! Thanks! Donna

I wish TPT had PM. I hate writing all over your page! Please erase all this after you read it. Just wanted to add I realize you're not a music person, I didn't explain well. Sorry, my bad. There are zillions of teacher conventions from what I hear. Some are large enough to include music/life skills/off the beaten path with everything else. Some are small and focused on one area. I just meant we would have to fit whatever you're interested in. haha sometimes songs are easier than simple English. Okay, chow for now. Didn't mean to make a big deal outa this. Just a thought I had because I assumed you'd be repping the band at conventions. Never assume. Note to self.

I do too that would be nice. Feel free to e-mail me if you want tigermagic@bellsouth.net You're right there are a ton of teacher conventions. It is definitely a thought, depending on how expensive it is to get a booth. What I'm doing for The Learning Station is promotions on the internet for now, it may expand at some point who knows! Not a problem Brian, that's what honest and intergrity is for. I tried to have and demonstrate both. When I look at the download, I wondered what the difference was from actual product. I soon realize that there wasn't anything different. I thought to myself this is not what he intending to do so I alerted you. I don't have a class of my own so I can't try them first and my proofreaders didn't catch it. :( Anyway, I did change the last 18 cents to 38 cents so the game should work perfectly now. If you find any other errors please don't hesitate to let me know on here or at tigermagic@bellsouth.net. It is greatly appreciated! I hope the kids enjoyed the game anyway and will enjoy it more now! :-) Merry Christmas!

I was wondering what are the directions of play? Is it matching? Do they provide the answer and check it? Thanks!
September 21, 2012 Report inappropriate comment
Brian Hopkins
Brian Hopkins  (TpT Seller)
Hi! The directions are included in the packet. This version is rounding. They look at the number that is underlined and they round it to the nearest place value. You mix up the cards and the kids take turns flipping them over. They round it to the nearest place value. If correct, they pick up a star, which are mixed up on the floor like go fish. The stars have numbers from 0 to 5. If they get anything, but a zero they can keep the points or pick again. They can pick as many times as they want as long as they don't get a 0. If they get a 0 they lose all the points. So they have to decide when to take the total of points they have and stop! Click download preview and I have the directions there and also in the product!

I do have versions for adding, multiplying, sight words, etc. in my store if one of those works better for you! Thanks for the question!

The only thing I was thinking of and I don't know how to do it to still fit each day on one page is a notes section. That way you could reflect on what went well or what you may want to change.

Hello,
I am writing you in regards to the Teacher Appreciation Jack Pot. I made a huge error. I was so excited on Sunday I spent hours and hours on a very slow computer going to every site that participated. I might have looked around a bit and became a follower. I was so inspired by all of you bloggers. Anyways, I went to every single site and added the TPA Freebie to my wishlist because the computer I was on has a virus and was not cooperating. SSSLLLOOOWWW!!!! So I thought if I just add it to my wish list on Monday morning I will download them on my school computer where I do all or most of my school work anyway. I was so excited I woke up super early so I could get to school and download them. Come to find out you had to pay for them. I wanted to cry. I emailed tpt and when they finally got back to me they said unfortunately there was nothing they could do. I was suppose to download them. I don’t recall ever reading that anywhere but I am very new to all of this. They said I had to email each one of you individually. Yes, then and there I just about started to cry. I had 120 items I added to my wishlist. I was on the computer all day Sunday doing this.
I am just wondering if you would be so kind to email or what ever you have to do so that I can download your freebie. I thought I would try! Thank you for your creative inspiring blog!!

I saw your posting on the Sellers Forum page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. I left you a rating.

I have a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products. First, create a cover page which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. Add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page. List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product. Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Save your advertising and blog info for the last page. Buyers really don't want to see it on the very first page they download.

If you have time, I’d appreciate your input on my freebie listed below.

I am now your 10th follower, and hope you will reciprocate at my store as well. http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/SciPi/Products

Thank you so much for the rating and also the suggestions. I certainly need ideas to do better! My February freebie I did put my website under the footer for each one and kind of have a cover page, but it's more of what you said should be my last page. I'll keep trying to do better for next one. I never thought of putting the date either, good idea!

I just checked, I'm already following you on TPT! I thought I was as I've left you ratings in the past. I'm behind on catching up my followers.

I just left you a rating for that awesome glyph.

Thank you for your kind words and again for your feedback. I've asked many others and rarely get constructive ideas so I completely appreciate it!
