Jane R. re: VARK Multiple Intelligences Learning Syles Posters
Hi Brooke,
I purchased this set of posters, but I think there may be some missing in the download. I have a poster for the visual learner, the read/write learner, the explanation posters for intake, output, and SWOT. I also have a poster for visual, but it is difficult to read due to the clarity of the print. I do not see anything for the kinesthetic learner. Should there be more?
Thanks!
Jane

Hi Jane,
Thank you for your purchase! Page 1 of the document is the visual learner, p. 2 the aural learner, p. 3-5 the kinesthetic learner (which you can choose to cut in half and staple together as a manipulative), and p. 6 is the read/write learner. I hope that helps!

Thank you,
Brooke

Rebecca S. re: Population Dynamics Powerpoint Presentation
Hi! Can you tell me how many slides this has? Does it cover density and dispersion? Survivorship curves? Immigration/Emigration? Exponential and Logistic growth? Density dependent and independent factors?
Thanks!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught many levels of science, from 7th grade Biology to International Baccalaureate Biology. I also pride myself on incorporating the different learning styles into my lessons and activities. Please check out my variety of VARK (visual, aural, read/write, kinesthetic) activities and information! I am currently teaching Reading Strategies at the high school level. I have also taught these courses at the middle school level. I'm also an avid co-teacher of English, Civics and Geography.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a chameleon.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2000 and shortly after completing that degree enrolled in the accelerated teacher certification program at Doane College in Crete, Nebraska. I received my Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane in the spring of 2009. I am currently working on adding a Special Education endorsement. I love being a student, so I’m quite sure more degrees will follow eventually!
