Carey, I am trying to open you fourth grade place value file. I can download the place value mats in Adobe reader and print it, but my computer says it cannot find what program the place value notebook is in. Help! I can't get the place value notebook to download but I could download the mats. I am working on a PC laptop. It keeps saying that Adobe reader cannot open it. Sorry, I do not have Smart Notebook. Can you just email the file to me. I printed the mats today.

Hi Jane! Do you have the Smart Notebook program on your PC? In order to open the Place Value Notebook you need the Smart program. If you do have Smart Notebook and it won't open I will email it directly to you. If you don't have it and don't use Smart please let me know that as well and we will discuss what you should do next. I have a question about using this probability smart board activity. When I get to the part with the paper bag and the direction is to click on the "hidden" cubes, nothing happens. Our director of technology looked into it and said the problem was not on our end. So she suggested I email the seller to see if there was a "fix." Thank you!

Hi! Can you see the "hidden" squares on the paper bag? You should be able to touch them and they should fly off. I just tried my file here and it is working for me. I have a couple of suggestions that might help you to better market this product. Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name, and date of creation on EVERY slide. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Add a second slide or put it before the first one which is a directions or suggestions page. List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching for 16 years. I started my teaching career in Houston, Texas. While I was teaching in Houston I had the opportunity to teach in a fourth and fifth grade multi-age classroom in a year round school. I also taught third grade for two years in Houston. I am currently teaching fourth grade students in Ohio.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I teach using both traditional and hands-on methods. I really emphasize the importance of learning vocabulary in all areas!
