The power point was not thorough enough to introduce and/or review adjectives. One slide had too many sentences on it. Thankfully I didn't spend a lot on this.

The "hook" really depends upon your topic. I was just trying to give students something familiar, yet usually not used in a classroom in the upper grades. If you could tell me which part you didn't understand, I will try to explain better. Have a good day.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching since the early 1980's; however, I took a break for six years when my son was born. I'm an animal lover, especially dogs, and traveling is what I would love to do when I retire... I mean... if I get to retire.
