Hi, I'm sorry it took me this long to reply, but I have been sick and didn't check my email. What you are experiencing has happened to me, too when buying from other vendors. It has to do with your font. If you don't have the font that is used on the document, it will come out scrabble. You can get the font, which is free in some websites, or you can highlight the document, change the font and it will format on its own. If this doesn't work, please let me know so that I can find out from other colleagues any other way to help you. Thank you for buying my products.

As I said before, it might be that you don't have the font. I don't know if downloading it as a PDF matters, I have downloaded documents with fonts I didn't have and experienced the same outcome as you have.

I'm doing well. I do not teach in Katy, I teach in Fort Bend ISD. I'm not familiar with Katy's Curriculum, but I was a second grade teacher in Houston ISD for 9 years and would've introduced the text features on the second semester when they are a little more receptive to this kind of material. It would be a good resource and a great help for your third grade teachers since it would familiarize them to this material. Thank you so much for sponsoring my store.
