I really like this activity and I will definitely use it with my 8th grade math class. I found quite a few mathematical errors and discrepancies between the questions and the answer key. Question card number 4 should have a set of parentheses surrounding the -4. Question card number 10 should have a set of parentheses surrounding the -1. Question card number 11 should have the close of the square bracket just before the /3.
Answer to number 5 should be positive 8. Again I’d like to say that I truly like the product and I will definitely use it, but I think you should correct the errors. I made sure to work each question systematically and then check it with a TI 83 calculator to verify if I felt there was a mistake. I’m just glad I checked this before I started using it with my students.
