Each variable stands for an item on the menu. For example "f" = fries. Match up the variables with the first letter of each menu item. Then perform the mathematic operation. For example "f + h" = Fries + Hamburger. Add the two together. It teaches students how to recognize and use variables, as well as a review of basic math operations.
