Bimonthly would be 24 times that the interest would be compounded in a year since bimonthly means twice a month. You have it as 6. Am I thinking wrong? BTW, I just looked it up too and it DOES mean both. Guess will have to point this out to my students. Thanks, I really like the activity. Planning to use as a comparison to simple interest. Make my students aware.

I downloaded your geometric mean "domino" game - great activity. I played both versions in my classroom today and it was a great way to practice and have a little fun. I do have a couple comments/corrections, though. On the beginner version, there are two answers of "6" - that doesn't work very well if they use the wrong 6 first because they get from start to end in about 4 cards. In the mastery level game, the last answer is incorrect - you have 4.4 and it should be 14.4. Typical kids - I had seven groups playing this version today and 6 groups had finished their "line" from start to finish when the last group called me over and pointed out the error in the last card. None of the other groups had bothered to do the last problem because it was just the last card and they just put it at the end - silly kids. It ended up providing some good discussion about why you should always check ALL the answers.
Anyway, if you make corrections to these, I would appreciate an updated version.

I just did this activity with my students today. We found a couple of places we think may be typos. First one of the problems says 2x^3 - 5x -12x...Should it be 2x^3 - 5x^2 -12x? And also, when you factor x^4 -16 you get (x + 2) (x - 2) (x^2 +4)...this is incorrect on both the student factor sheet and the answer key.

Or solving quadratics using completing the square or square root method that would include simplifying a square root with imaginary/complex answer? This activity is awesome. It brings in some of those concepts required written ACT in the end of course assessments for Geometry. I don't know if this could be an extention or if an idea for an additional activity. The majority of the problems students have to answer don't end with x=. Once they have find x, they then have to find an angle. Sometimes it will end there, alot of the times they will then have to use the angle to find an angle that is supplementary to it. Everything is multi-step. It is so hard to find resources. Our textbooks don't support the rigor and struggle to have time to create it. Thanks for all the great stuff. My kids love it!

Which file you are having trouble with.
If you purchased a PDF and it is blurry after you open it, solve it this way: on a MAC or PC, install the latest version of ADOBE READER. Then, open the file with ADOBE READER. That's it. On a MAC, make sure to "Open With" ADOBE READER and NOT Preview. If it's still blurry, that's because you are still opening it with Preview!

Hello, I purchased the Algebra graphs walls that teach and I love the concept. When I printed them, several were blurry. I haven't had this problem with the other products I've purchased from you, including the algebra and geometry word walls that teach. I've printed them both on my printer at home (Inkjet) and at work (laser) and even a few on a friend's color laser and more than half are not clear.

1. Graph D-11, answer key and cards list -(x+3)^2 as the answer for both standard and vertex form. Standard should be -x^2-6x-9
2. Standard form graph 16 - shoud be -2x^2+4x+1. Sign on the 4x needs to change.
3. Set C - graph 16. Standard form should be -1/4x^2 +x+3. The negative a should flip the -4x to positive and then reduce to x when dividing by 4 and the plus 4 at the end will become -1 and then when you add the +4 you get plus 3.

Hello,
I love your Algebra and Geometry word wall signs. This will sound like a really crazy question, but... I teach in a K-12 IB school. We just opened a brand new high school addition (public school system, lucky to get the bond passed, etc). Do you have a version of these signs you sell as a different document format? I want to be able to go in and recolor or change the red color.
We are discouraged from using red in our new building as it doesn't match the building or any of it's interior colors and our district doesn't like the use of red (as it is perceived as shouting). Weird, but other than a few quirks, I love the district, especially based on others I've been in before.

I originally used ActivInspire (Promethean Board Software) to make these. Do you have this software? Or I can change the red to another color... what color would you prefer. In my classroom I have a great aide that likes to color so I printed my in grey-tones and she decorated them.

I saw your store on TPT and since I also teach math at the local community college, I thought I would look at your freebie. I left you a rating. I have a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products. First, create a cover page which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. Make your second page a directions or suggestions page. List several ways you use this product. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product. Also, move your answer key to the end of your product. Finally, think about making your x's cursive; otherwise, they look like the multiplication sign. (This is just my preference).

That sort was one of my first listings. My recent items (done just last weekend actually) have some of the thing you have suggested. Thanks so much for the ideas. Thanks for your response. I am currently building a website/online school. The address is www.universalhomeschool.com/custom. It will not be live for another 6 – 8 months because there is so much work to be done. I am currently trying to build up material including videos, lessons, worksheets, presentations and more. A lot of this material is being created by myself. I hope that the site will be successful in providing students with a vast resource of information that will help them become more successful. Any material that I use that was not created by myself I will make sure credit has been given to the author. Let me know what you think, if you don’t mind me using your work, either way is fine. If you have any suggestions for me I would also appreciate that. Thanks for taking the time.
