Good Evening, thank you for taking the time to respond to my questions. I think I'm going to do the free trial membership first. That makes the most sense. I am also noticing that I should have numerous products to offer prior to opening up shop. Your insight and honesty has really helped me.Yes, going from fourth to first is a huge transition. I taught first for a couple of months, so let's just say that I was so relieved when they put me back in 4th. Don't feel like you are alone with common core because I believe we all are having a difficult time but it does open up opportunities for my products to more people. Yes, Casey, we all need "Time." The is one of the most underestimated words in our profession if you ask me. Once again thank you for your response. I wish you the best of luck with sales, as well as a successful school year. I was just wondering how is it working for you? How did you make that first step (which seems to be the most difficult)? I hope that it is working great thus far. As you can see I don't have many products. Deciding to sell was difficult. I suppose that putting what I use in my classroom out for others to see was a little intimidating. I have gotten positive comments and that helped boost my confidence a bit. I haven't done much mostly because I went to a different grade level this year--fourth to first. I'm trying to get used to a new curriculum as well. Our system swapped to common core. We have all been scrambling to find resources. Our system also uses standards based grading in grades K-2. I have had many adjustments so putting things out on TPT has kind of taken a back seat. I hope to get back to it soon though. There are so many creative people out there. I have learned a lot just by looking at their products and seeing what I need to do to spruce mine up a bit. To answer your question, I just posted a few things and hoped for the best. I feel that I'm better able to create products that are appealing. Now, I just need what we all need. Time! I hope I helped a little. Good luck and I'll be looking for you!
