Cathy,
Thank you. I teach in Temple ISD. CSCOPE is the source for an all-in-one approach to a quality curriculum system. It is a comprehensive, customizable, user-friendly curriculum management system built on the most current research-based practices in the field. It is very structured and organized. But it is very in depth and the rigor is somewhat unrealistic in its daily requirements. You basically have to be able to look at it and be able to see the big picture and work with those standards first and weave the smaller requirements in as you go. I find it easy to maneuver through, but the rest of my team is so against it, they refuse to look at it objectively.
Hi! I am a Kindergarten teacher here in Texas. I have a question for you. Does your school use CSCOPE for curriculum? If so, how long? Our district just rolled it out for us to begin using it. I love it, but many of my colleagues are overwhelmed and do not like it at all. Did anyone on your faculty have the same problems? Can you tell me how your school overcame the issues? Of course these questions are assuming you do use it. I really appreciate any help you can give me.
Angela, I'm sorry I don't know what CSCOPE is. I assume we are not using it. I teach in Magnolia ISD. Where do you teach? Can you tell me more about it?
Thanks Cathy
