I have been teaching for three years. I started my career in Milwaukee Public Schools where I taught 2nd grade. I loved my experience in Milwaukee but was given the opportunity to take a job in the town I grew up. That is what brought me to Oconomowoc School District, where I taught 4th grade last year and moved to first grade this year!

Movin' and shakin'... That is how I would describe my classroom and teaching style. I love to get my kiddos moving throughout the day with a variety of activities. I also love to lead my children to discover themselves as learners. I work diligently to create a classroom where my sweeties feel safe so that they are comfortable to take risks and explore their world.

I graduated from Oconomowoc School District and then from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a BA in elementary education.

This past July I got engaged and then we were married in October. We are madly in love and enjoying life as newlyweds with our dog, Roo.
