Great question, I've taken a core list suggested by grade level from the Oklahoma state department of education if you google building academic vocabulary Oklahoma you will find the link with the words I use per grade level. See my blog chalktalkspeechtherapy.blogspot.com for a direct link to the websites page if you'd like. Hope this helps, and should soon have kg and 3-4 complete. I think these lists really help parents understand what is expected of their child, and how they can be falling behind and do poorly on test if they do not understand these core terms...Alicia
