Hi Denice! Just the calendars is the new Beach Calendar product which was just listed, so they won't have to be sold separately. I have no intention of doing the grade 6-12 CCSS standards at all. Just doing K-5 in all the themes I did consumed my life for 18 months. I plan on taking it much easier this summer. :)

The way I have the standards written was the way the CCSS organization (commoncore.org) had them written when they were created. If yours looks different, then your state has chosen to display them a little differently, and I am not planning on updating them to some of the changes specific states have chosen to do (there are too many states - lol). Funny, I see my second question posted but not my first. So here goes, I will try again. I recently purchased your Black and White Classroom Binder kit. I am new to TPT and very new to working with PDF files. I bought this set thinking that I could adjust and change things around and I had no idea that this would not be possible. You do say that things can be changed, but only the things in color. Odd for a Black and White Theme kit. Although you state in your description that the black and white pieces are just plain old PDF's, this is meaningless to someone that does not know or understand what a plain old PDF is. unfortunately, as much as I like some of the pieces in the kit, I can not use it as I teach 1st grade and the font is cursive. I wanted to mention this for those of us who are not very computer (or PDF) literate. Any ideas of how I might make this set work for me?

Hi there! That is so weird as I know I did respond right away yesterday. Sorry it took so long today - I am actually traveling and was on a flight for 5 hours. Anyway - sorry you feel as though you can't use it. It actually does list the grade levels as 2nd grade and up for the black and white set on purpose. I cannot format it so you can change the font because then it is in violation of copyright from the font people. I absolutely want you to be able to use your materials, so feel free to ask TpT for a refund (I cannot issue one myself as all billing is done through them on this site - if it were on my own site I could do it easily). Hi Liz! The file includes both a PDF (adobe reader) and a Word doc. First, go back and download again just to make sure it wasn't a glitch wen you downloaded the first time. Then, make sure to open the zip file (you will either double click if you are on a mac or use WinZip - free to download - if you are on a PC). The file will then open a blue folder and both files are inside. Hopefully we can get you back on track. :) -Charity

Not on state assessments as that would have been tough to do with so many states to contend with. I tried to cover the standards in order and spend more time on those that would be more involved or carry a heavier weight on a standardized test. They are looping in that I tried to get them all covered at least twice before the spring testing season, even if just briefly, then looped around again before the end of the school year.

I purchased the management set (14.99) and I'm having a difficult time with the files. Some wont open, some wont save. My day is packed with classes so I'm not able to sit and write every single file that wont open so is there a faster way to get this to work? Some of the files will not save I get an error message saying the file is corrupted and it forces me to redo everything. Is there a better way to work with these files? It would be much easier if I didn't have to redo everything. I've had to download this 3 times now before contacting you. Looking forward to your feedback; I've been frustrated for the past 2 days trying to get some of these files to work.

Hmmmm - it sounds ot me like you may not have the latest version of Adobe Reader installed? I haven't had anyone else complain, so I don't think it is the file itself. I am guessing maybe a software glitch? I can always try to send you another file directly to see if it was a glitch while in the process of downloading from TpT too. Hi there! I just purchased this set and just started putting in info and encountered 2 issues up to this point. In the substitute Folder - Classroom routines, we don't have a nurse or hall passes. I wanted to put in Sick/Accidents in the Nurse space and in the Hall Passes spot I wanted to put in Class Helpers. But these are not editable. Also on the Master Schedule, in the Sub folder, too, I wanted to add AM after Master Schedule and then PM the second time as I need to do 2 Master schedule sheets in order to fit in all the daily activities. Our sessions are 30 minutes each. Is there any way you can fix this for me?

What does CCSS stand for? Is it the same as CCGPS?

They are the National Common Core State Standards. Every state is allowed to change them up to a certain percentage. Georgia is one of the states that did that. You would have to check and see by how much though. The listing for the National Standards that I used can be found on the website: http://www.corestandards.org

Wow! There are a lot of people from Australia who want to buy your stuff hey? I am also from Australia and was hoping to purchase this pack but I dont think I will as I really would like the calender to run from January to December also.

Thanks Charity. One other question, is it possible to type in the daily/weekly/parent etc sheets or is it necessary to write it by hand. If not do you have any theme that is totally editable. I love the owl theme but want to be able to type all my information and at present it will not allow me to do so.

The owl theme is a bit snarky. I have actually tried to make those pages customizable and for whatever reason, the system gives me an error when I add the form fields. The other themes are mostly customizable where it would make sense to be. There are some places where they don't have fields in them because kids might be writing on them for different reasons (like a book check-out log), but I really tried to enter the form fields where I felt it would be used by a teacher. (The fields take forever to add into each document).

I hope you enjoyed the cruise. I bought the Owl and Jungle packages. The daily pages do not cover July to December 2013 which is our school year. I realise it is a big ask but it would mean that your product was ready for your 2013/2014 school year. I do not need it until later in the year as I can use the January to June sheets and I imagine you will want to be ready to sell the product for next year. Thank you for a great product

Ahhh - gotcha! I see what you are asking now (I think maybe my brain is still in vacation mode). When I do update the pages for our school year in the coming months, I will make sure to send the buyers the notification that it has been updated and you will be able to grab the calendars you need then for sure. :)

Hi Charity, I am a big fan & have been watching all of your wonderful TPT how to videos! I am a newbie TPT seller & still trying to figure everything out - your videos have been so enormously helpful, thank you!! I've searched your videos for my latest problem & just cannot find anything. I just want to make sure I'm not missing a video of yours if it does exist on this : creating a preview for TPT lessons. I create PowerPoints with about 10 pages on one slide, save as a JPEG & upload to my site. I am always told that the file is too big to upload yet I see many others do it!! What am I doing wrong??!! Hi Sue! I normally have to convert my PowerPoints to PDFs, and then sometimes (depending on the file size), reduce the size and then I usually place in a folder and zip it up in order to reduce it as well. Another great place to ask would be the forum here as the sellers are always very helpful. Perhaps they have another way as well?

I want to take advantage of your sale Monday. I would like to get the Nautical theme sets, but I believe some things are included in different sets.
What different product sets and individual items would/should I need to get to have everything in the theme.
I currently teach 4/5 grade Special Needs so that would be the primary grades, however, I often need to work on and create goals for standards in all grade levels K-5. I know that California has adopted the Common Core, plus added some of their own--I will have to work on the additional standards my self.
I would appreciate any recommendations you could give me for which packs and items to purchase in the Nautical theme .

I watched the first 3, then took a break to eat dinner, thinking I'd come back to my computer and watch some more. When I got back, my computer said "TpT is no longer responding" so I had to re-log in. Now I can't find your videos anywhere, no matter what I type in the search bar. You are not able to change fonts or anything. the form fields are pre-populated already as that is the only way to use the program. (If it were editable another way I wouldn't be able to lock down the graphics and the clip art people where I buy would not allow me to sell the items.)
