Fantastic assignment. I used it and it went over very well with my students. However, I would take out the page numbers as they are different for me as well. This makes more work for the user who does not use the same textbook that you do.

My students and I have become great fans of your plays! I did rewrite the portion on the 14th amendment, having Johnson try to "veto" but Congress reminds him that he is out of the loop when it comes to Constitutional amendments. At any rate, we're looking forward to your next script . . .

Fantastic! I switched subjects this year (Western Hemisphere) so I haven't made any new US history scripts this year, but I was planning to add a couple this summer (An Alamo one for sure). And good point about the 14th amendment; I'll edit that part of the Reconstruction this summer as well. Thanks for the encouragement!

Make History Fun (TpT Seller)
My students and I absolutely loved this play! I used it as a review over our Jacksonian Democracy Unit. It's a great way to differentiate instruction. I had my students get up and act out the parts. It was a blast. I'll definitely continue to use it.

I saw your store on the home page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. I left you a rating. Well done! I was hoping to downnload a math item since I teach math, but I do like seeing what else you have.
Since you don't have many items, here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products. Add some clipart to add color or just color. For some reason buyers like color on the original even though they may copy your product in black and white. Also, create a cover page for each of your products which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. You might also add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page for the teacher. (How do you assign these? Is this an in-class or homework assignment? Can the students work in groups? Etc.) List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.
Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Also number your pages. Finally, unless you want your products revised (I do for my tests) save everything in a PDF format as it is harder to change.
