I loved this packet - it was exactly what I was looking for. Very cute graphics and so happy to see it had answer keys. My only concern was that as I was scoring my children's work with the answer keys & I was marking things wrong (making the kiddos redo them!) and the kiddos were actually right. There were several mistakes in the answer keys with the tens place being off by 1 digit. I would tell you which exact numbers but the pages are not numbered. Thank you for a nice product though. I would buy from you again.

Oh it much more than a slide show. If you project it on a whiteboard your students can write and draw on the whiteboard to figure out the problems. Just as if you have a SMARTBoard.

Hum, I'm not sure. I don't have promethean software. I have heard that their is a way of opening Notebook lessons in phomethean but I'm not sure how to do it myself.
I wish I could be more help but I've only use Notebook software.
I'm going to check with other TPT sellers and see if they know the answer. I'll let you know if I find anything out.

I bought, downloaded and saved the Word Family Ladders to my computer. I have a problem though...I can't get the letter in front of any of the word families to appear! I have tried everything!! I noticed that it didn't appear either when I did the trial version before I bought it, but I assumed that was because it was a trial and wasn't set up to run, rather just to show the format. HELP!! I need to use this with my students asap since we are working on chunking!!

First of all are you using this lesson on a SMARTBoard or on a different Whiteboard? If it is a SMARTBoard touch right beside the vowel of the letter chunks to make the letter appear. The letter should come right up.
Have you tried it using the curser on your computer?
I am going to put in a ticket to TPT for you to see if they have any additional ideas.

First of all I let my first graders through the Koosh ball themselves. (That is half the fun.) I encourage them to not slam the ball at the SMARTBoard, the board will not respond. They need to through it so it makes firm contact with the board. It might take a few tries at first but they adjust their throughs pretty quickly.
You might want to tell the kids to through the Koosh ball so it kisses the board. That sometimes help.

I locked in the number line because I used a font that most people don't have.

As for the adding slides, left click on the snowman slide then right click on the same slide and click on Clone Page (for SMARTBoard) or Duplicate Slide (Power Point). You can clone or duplicate the slide as many times as you wish. Finally all you need to do is type in your own problem (SMARTBoard) or add a Text Box and type in your problem. You might want to lock the problem down (SMARTBoard) so it does not move on your students. Let me know if you need any additional instructions.

I'm sorry but as stated under the thumb nials of this lesson this is a Notebook (SMARTBoard Lesson). You must have Notebook to open this lesson. I'm sure if you go to the bottom of this screen and click on Contact Us TPT will refund your money. Just explain to them that you do not have Notebook and can not open the lesson.
Not all my lessons are for SMARTBoard (Notebook). I do offer some of my lessons in Power Point. However for this lesson you have to have a SMARTBoard.

I have a trouble-shooting question. When we played the game there were a couple of issues....first, the same questions kept popping up. Then the screen would freeze and not return to the candy page. When it did return to the candy page, the koosh ball would not always trigger the question to pop up...I had to manually do it. Any thoughts? I just love the idea of this, but I want to make sure I get it to work correctly before I purchase more. Thanks.

I used this lesson with my class just before break and it worked fine. The only time the same question popped up was when the students kept hitting the same place on the board. I had to encourage them to aim for a different section. Are you using Notebook 11 and are you using a soft squishy koosh ball? Another problem could be if you have other programs running in the background. My tech person says Notebook is a big hog on memory. If you have other things running it slows Notebook down. Sometimes if a teacher starts to have problems with Notebook not working right we have to restart their computer to correct the problem. If these suggestions don’t work on your school computer let me know. I can send you the program to you through email to see if it could be a download problem.

You can lock the clip art down along with any print that does not need to have animation attached to it or that does not need to be moved. However anything that needs to be made interactive cannot be locked down. I hope this makes sense.

Hum, well first of all this is a notebook lesson. Do you have notebook? If you do make sure the file says .notebook. If it says .zip highlight zip and change it to notebook. That should do the trick. If you don't have notebook contact TPT and exchange the lesson for the Power Point version.

Ok I'm sorry I tried to answer your question while I was away from my computer. I just brought up the lesson on my computer. What you want to do is click and drag the box to the right. Then click on the beginning letter and drag it to the right. Keep doing this until you have shown all of the beginning letters. Once again do not save when you are done with the lesson.

Even though I was able to open the file in smartboard notebook, my board is an activboard with promethean planet. I bet I have to use the pen . It doesn't have touch activation. I guess I should have thought of that. I hope I can still use it even if I must use the pen.

Yes you will need to use your pen.
You could have your student use a ball that sticks to the wall. They could throw the ball then use the pen to open the page. Just a suggestion.

What kind of a koosh ball are you using? You need to use a soft squishy koosh ball. They cost about $1 at Target or Meijer’s. If you are using a harder ball it will not work.
The game is working on my computer. So if none of these suggestions solve your problem. Or if you want me to send you a picture of the kind of koosh ball you need. Send me an email at cssmartietech@gmail.com and I will either send you the game again or send you a picture.

I'm not sure why it is saying that. It was made on Notebook 10.6 but like you I have Notebook 11. I’m not sure what the problem might be. It could be the font size it too large for your screen. Try highlighting the words and lowering the font size.
If by digicam you mean projector, it could be the resolution on your computer screen.
Which Dolch list did you buy? If you let me know I could change the font and repost it to see if that works for you.

All the name plates are the same. You will receive 16 pages of the blank name plates that you can program with your student’s names. (32 students) 1 page of directions as to how to change the names, a link to find the font Print Clearly, and links to where I found all the clip art.
The teachers in my building and I like to make all of our students name plates at the same time. Then we can save the document and have it ready to go if we need to make additional copies.

I am not positive this will work since I don't have a mimio board. Now with that said I have been doing some checking around and I have found that there is a process to convert SMARTBoard lessons to Mimio. Here are the directions I found:
You need to pull up mimio and then when you click on open file, there is the drop down box that is labeled files of type, there should be a smart notebook listing. Realize anything that is interactive will not work. Pictures and text will download fine. Sometimes backgrounds would not always transfer over but that is an easy fix. If the smart software is on your computer still, the notebook software will run and work the same, you just have to use the mimio pen.
Now there is animation with this lesson so it may not work the way it should. You might want to check with your tech person to see if you can reactivate the animation once it downloads.
