Hi Christie,
I downloaded your April Foolin' mini unit today. It was fun! Our favorite activity was the "True of Foolish?" addition facts. I do have a clarifying question about the Don’t be Fooled-sight word game:
Hand out 4 trading cards, face-down. Player one takes a card, reads the word. If correct, he can keep the card and play continues on to next player.
Right?
Here's the confusing part for me:
If a player draws a clown card they get to
steal another players cards. Once the player chooses which player to steal from the
other player will turn over their trading card. (Who turns over their trading card--Player or student who has been chosen to have their cards stolen?) If they turn over an “April Fools” card
the other player will get to steal their cards instead. (Huh?) If a player steals the cards
from someone who has an “I’ve been fooled card” they will get to steal their cards. (Sorry, but I'm lost.)

Hi! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. I didn't want to leave less than As in the feedback; but wanted to let you know the font used in the product was confusing when doing the missing letter word strips. The letter "a" for apple confused me, I didn't realize it was an "a" until it was the last letter we had left & I compared it to other letter a's in the game.
I love this literacy unit & will continue to use it for sure, just wanted you to know the font makes it a little more difficult to identify letters when in isolation. Thanks.

I keep printing the letter M pages from your packet and they are printing out with a big black rectangular spot in the middle of the page. I tried to delete and download the file again but it keeps happening?!? There are a few games that focus on combining coins sets to make a certain amount and then there is a game that works on counting a set of coins. are there certain skills your students are needing help with? Hi Amy! My Teaching on the Beach Packet doesn't have a template (exactly) if you purchase it you will get a picture that you copy on a transparency and blow up onto your wall (you can use your document viewer too). From there you trace each part of the picture separately onto different colored poster board. I have listed all the directions as well. You can do this with any clip art picture you have. It does come with everything else you need to complete your bulletin board just not the template. I hope that helps! If you want to see a small picture of everything that is included I could send it to you. Let me know! Also if you're just not interested and want an exact template (no problem) scroll down and read issymomof3's question and my response below :-)

Hello there,
I discovered you by reading the blog "What the Teacher Wants" and fell in love with your beach themed classroom. It was posted that you created the children from clip art by piecing together poster board. I have spent hours browsing the internet trying to find these clipart images and then it occurred to me that I should go directly to the source. I discovered you by reading the blog "What the Teacher Wants" and fell in love with your beach themed classroom. It was posted that you created the children from clip art by piecing together poster board. I have spent hours browsing the internet trying to find these clipart images and then it occurred to me that I should go directly to the source. HI! If you go to pebblesinmypocket.com and then click on the digital downloads link you will find another link for paper piecing patterns. After that you will see all sorts of cute clip art sets. They are originally used for scrapbooking but I just copy them onto paper and then use my projector to blow them up so they are bigger. It takes a little bit of time but it's fun and everyone will love them! I suggest laminating everything separate and then putting it together (that way it's not too thick) Hope that helps! This may sound like a dumb question, but is your husband Scott Lamb from Glendale, Utah? If so, I taught him in 1st grade at Valley Elem.(my last name has changed). He was in the same class as my daughter Crystal Gehrig. If Scott is your husband tell him hi. He was a great kid.

I have a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products. First, create a cover page for EVERY product you create which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. You might think about changing the font on the directions since it is cute, but hard to read. (just my preference) Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Also, number your pages.
Since you create math items, I’d appreciate your input on either of my freebies listed below. I always appreciate feedback and comments from a variety of teachers.

Hey! I'm so glad you emailed me! I checked my sales and noticed that you had purchased two of the same thing and wondered if it was a mistake! There is no way for me to email the people that purchase things from me and I wanted to email you to see if that was the case. Sooooo, since I have no control over the money and such (I'll look into it but as for now I have no clue how to reimburse you :-() Would you like to pick something else from my store? I'd be happy to email you something of your choice free of charge!
