Included are weekly spelling activities to go the unit. There are five activities for each week. Trace it, write it and spell it, Word Shapes, Missing Letters, Word scramble, and a word search. I use them for spelling homework, but they can be used in a workshop as well.

I am using this template to write plans for Reading Street.
I do not see the commom core standards listed as:
"Foundational Skills" examples are : 2.b.(isolate and pronounce, blend, and segment syllables in spoken words) all these look to be phonics /letter rec. related which I associate with lang arts.
Please advise or e-mail a revised plan to me at sheryl-yvette@msn.com

The foundational skills are located in the bottom left corner, RFS (Reading Foundational Skills). If its not showing up you might want to try and download the file again. I sent out an update a few months back because RFS.4 wasn't showing up on the document. Let me know if that doesn't work.

I love your materials! One of our 1st grade teachers was showing me how wonderful all of your forms and created materials are. Try downloading the file again. When you open it with Adobe Reader you should she blue highlighted fields where you would type. If you dont see the blue fields and it doesn't work please let me know.
