I have used agree and disagree for several years. This is the first year I teach world history and wasn't sure how to incorporate it. You did a really good job with the questions, as Imperialism is new to me. I gave a B+ because as I said, I've used agree/disagree before and I gave a B+ for thoroughness because I think the lesson could be pushed a bit more. In the past when students went to a sign, most were just "following" their friends and I was hoping you would have included more information on how you prevent this from happening or another other rules. I will be using this activity on Monday as a review. Any time I can implement a "movement" activity I'm all for it. I did some additional research after I purchased your activity and found one teacher has the students find a partner within their group and they have to explain to each other why they chose their answer. I plan on taking it a step further by then choosing a few partners and having them explain their reasoning to the class for a small chocolate reward.

20+ pages of country statistics are great. But the directions and chart at the end are confusing. I would recommend one large chart with each country listed at the top so that student's answers are all on one page. Also, no world map is provided.

This was awesome! Aside from one small typo, my AP World History students didn't want to stop! I couldn't even get through all of the statements in 2 classes because the discussion was so powerful on the first few slides - excellent!

The idea is a good one. My students had a hard time working with it, but this is more because of my students than the assignment. It could have been presented in a more creative manner. Also, it would be nice to have a variation of it where the students could match the ideas. For example: provide a handout with the salient points from the philosophers so that the students have something from which to extrapolate information.

Make History Fun (TpT Seller)
Im always looking for ways to differentiate instruction in my class and this was something fun and different. My students acted out the play and then I provided them with review questions over it. It was so much more entertaining than reading and answering questions from the textbook!

I completed the crossword and will post answers with lesson this evening. I am assuming once you purchase product they will continue to allow you access (?) If this is not the case, just send me your e-mail and I will send it to you. I also noticed in completing the puzzle that the program I used to create it did not provide enough spaces for the answer to number 13 down so I am re-posting a corrected version of the clues to account for this.

This is designed as an enrichment activity following a teacher presentation on the main thinkers of the Enlightenment. The first page are short excerpts from the constitution (including several from the bill of rights, a section from the 19th amendment, sections regarding the separation of powers, and a portion of the preamble. The back of the worksheet contains 3 short quotes from the declaration of independence, demonstrating Locke's idea of the Social Contract. So overall the worksheet is 1 1/3 pages. I teach 10th graders at a title one school and find they do fine with it as long as the teacher has front-loaded them with good notes.
