TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for 13 years; all in public school. I have taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades, and as it turns out, my heart is in 2nd grade-the little ones are so sweet!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to use hands-on learning and I encourage my students to fully participate in their own learning. I also love to have a bright, colorful classroom with lots of eye-catching clipart and graphics. I hope you find my items here to have those same characteristics!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Outstanding Student Teacher Award; 1996

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a B.A.E. from Arizona State University (Go, Devils!) and an ELD Endorsement.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am the proud Mom of two beautiful daughters; both teenagers! My oldest is mildly Autistic. So that presents some parenting and life challenges, as well as giving me a unique perspective on kiddos with Special Needs.
