First you will want to left click on the year. You will see an infinite symbol that you will need to click on and then uncheck. From here, you will need to right click, go to grouping, and ungroup. You will then be able to double click on the year and change it. Ok…then you will need to hold down the left mouse button and outline the box with the year in it. When you let go, you should see two down arrows. Click on the outermost arrow, grouping, group. Then click on the arrow again and click infinite cloner. I know this is a lot and I hope it makes sense. I will try to change this and send out an update to all my buyers. Thank you for making me aware of this. ~Chelli

It was created with the smart board software. I know other people could get it to work in other programs after contacting their technology department. I have never worked with active inspire so I would suggest trying you tech department. I'm sorry I can't answer your question completely. I hope you get it resolved. There are eleven jobs including, waste management, mail call, librarian, personal assistant, pencil sharpener, computer tech, housekeeping, secretary, center maintenance, and chairperson. I believe the file is in powerpoint, so you should be able to customize it to your liking. From what I have been told from other customers, everything will show up except for a few of the interactive aspects. I had one customer buy my product and then I deleted those objects and she inserted her own from the ActivBoard. I hope this helps. Thanks~Chelli

I was able to open the notebook file on my ActivBoard!! Yay!! The only problem is that the die, hundreds board, and any other gadget are showing up off screen and I am unable to move or delete them. Is there any way that you could send me the file without those gadgets and I will add-in the Activ equivalent? Thanks!!

I have never worked with an ActivBoard, so I really do not know how to answer this. I have a Smartboard in my classroom, so I mainly make things with this program in mind. I do know that I made a Rock Star theme calendar for someone who does not have a Smartboard, she had some other program, and after speaking with her I.T. department, she was able to use it. I would suggest contacting your I.T. department. Sorry I couldn't help more.

I used it only as a supplement. There is a research guide that goes along with the book that is more factual as do most of Osborne's books. I would encourage you to read both books. The research guide may be above a second graders reading level, but they can still get a lot from it by you reading it to them and explaning as you go.

No, I did not include a recording sheet. I first created these calendar boards because my school system was wanting to cut down on the amount of paper we were using. Having a recording sheet is a great idea though.

If you have the Smart Board program it should be really easy. Fix your pointer in the middle of two chalkboards and then right click. You should have a list of commands come up that say clone, cut, copy, etc... Go down to where it says group. Click on group and then ungroup. Then go to the link you want to change and double click it. It should then turn into a "word†looking document where you can change the font, color, etc... Please let me know if this works for you. If not then I can send you another copy of the presentation with no grouping and blank chalkboards. Thanks for purchasing and I would really appreciate it if you would rate this product. Enjoy!
