Hello! I really like many of your products, however in my building we have adopted colleges for each classroom as a way to introduce our students to different universities, and get them thinking about those possibilities even in elementary school. My college is Indiana Wesleyan University, which claims the main colors of red and gray. What are the chances that you would be willing to create a packet with a theme of red/gray, or possibly even incorporate IWU into it? Do you ever do customized projects?

Hi and thanks for your purchase. I'm sorry you had trouble printing. I hate wasting ink. I haven't heard of anyone having problems with the file, but I know from my experiences with products I've purchased from others that I sometimes need to make sure my printer setting to make it fit the page. It's usually worded as print to scale or print to fit the page. Hope that helps :) Jodi from The Clutter-Free Classroom

Hello! Thanks for such an incredible resource! I just bought it today and was printing it out and noticed a typo - on the vocab cards 1/8 should be 'eighth' instead of 'eigth.' Is it possible to get the pg 9 web formatted with the titles in the same location as they are in the task cards [pg 8]? I know there is the blank web on pg 10 [so I could hand print on that], but would prefer to have it typed {I plan to put these in a see-through film for handy use]. Hi! I just purchased the 2-D geometry bundle. This looks so fun and timely for my class, can't wait to do the activities next week! There's one wee problem, I'm wondering if it can be fixed and updated? I can certainly write in the changes, but it would be nice to look all uniform. The square in the classifying quadrilaterals section says "opposite sides are parallel AND equal" and "90 degrees" (to distinguish it from a parallelogram) but that's the definition of a rectangle. Square should add "AND all sides are equal length". It's why the square is a special case of the rectangle, the attributes are identical except square adds that "little something extra" of all sides also being equal haha! Anyway, let me know, if you disagree, I'll just add the wording myself (might even help it stick in their minds better to do it that way actually!) but if you want to update it, I'll download the changed files. You're so sweet! To answer your question...I am responding to this question at 4:40 a.m. so sleep is sometimes the sacrifice. LOL Seriously though I do get up at 4:30 each day and work on the blog/products until everyone else gets up at 6. I've always been a morning person and whatever didn't get done in my world by noon didn't get done that day. I do go to be pretty early. I've also found that keeping a rhythm to the week allows me to get more done. I do this at home and school. I blogged about the school aspect (correct papers, make copies, plan math, plan ELA, etc all on the same dedicated day each week). At home I do the same...and it helps to have a very supportive hubby who takes on dishes, laundry, errands, etc. I've been teaching 3rd for about 5 years now so I know my content and curriculum really well and can focus on enhancing it with supplemental materials (which I love making). Finally, this is my hobby so I enjoy every second I put into it. Where in MA do you teach? :) Jodi

Thanks for your interest in the Me on the Map product. I had my students cut out the pieces themselves (I teach 3rd). I would think younger learners could easily cut them as well. Thanks for your interest in the Me on the Map product. I had my students cut out the pieces themselves (I teach 3rd). I would think younger learners could easily cut them as well. I just found TPT and read that you have been teaching and blogging for a long time. I have been teaching in Managua, Nicaragua for 9 years. We just moved back to the states year before last. Aren't they adorable? I love the way these turn out. At the start of each school year I take a close up headshot of each of my students and 2 sets printed as 4x6 photos. I use one set on a board in my room and the other for various projects. In this case, I simply enlarged them using a photocopier, had the kiddos watercolor the stripes on and then cut them out. Thank you very much for your compliment and purchase! When I designed this product I did originally attempt to include art in those categories, but found they didn't fit well enough to keep it that way. Since during the day most kids clips stay in the middle of the chart I had to keep those extreme categories at the top and bottom smaller or the chart would have become to long. With the smaller size the way it is clipart doesn't fit well with the design. Many of the teachers in my school now use this product with great success. I hope you find it successful as well. TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Over the years I have worked my way up from Preschool to Kindergarten to 1st, 2nd and 3rd. I've been in third grade for 6 years and simply adore teaching this age. My experiences have included inner-city and neighborhood schools in the suburbs. I've loved both for different reasons.

I strive to create an organized classroom environment in which the students are able to be independent learners. It thrills me beyond words when a sub leaves me a note that reads, "The room runs itself." That's my goal. :)
