TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This begins my 13th year of teaching for the Murray Independent School System in Murray, Kentucky. I taught 6 years in 4th grade at Murray Middle School and 6 years in 3rd grade at Murray Elementary School. This year, it will teach 2nd grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Storytelling, singing, and laughing while making connections in all content areas. I love to see the children light up when they are learning.

Elementary Education Graduate from Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky in 1999 Masters of Education in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in Environmental Education from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky in 2006.

I am married and the mother of two daugthers. I enjoy camping with my family.
