TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught Science for 7 years at a suburban Washington DC school. I taught many of the science courses the school offered (mainly bio), but in 2006 I designed and implemented my own Forensic Science Course. It was an incredibly successful course and the first year it was offered over 180 kids registered. That is A LOT of students. Unfortunately we had to scale back the classes so all the students had somewhere to sit. But the students who could not enroll that year, took it the following year.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Kooky, funny, witty, and many of my students might call me crazy. But in a good way!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I received a BA in 1999. I majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. I went on to earn my MA in Secondary Science Education, and earned my 2nd MA in Forensic Psychology. And, no, I am not a fan of CSI!
