I have been teaching for seven years. I currently work for the New York City Public Schools and I have never been happier! During my seven years of teaching I have been a grade level leader, a lead teacher, ran a 1st and 2nd grade building on my own as a lead teacher, and have created workshops and professional developments for my colleagues. I currently teach a 4th/5th grade special ed 12:1:1 class.
I truly believe that your classroom is your stage. You must show enthusiasm and love for what you are teaching. If you can do that, I believe that your students will be eager to learn what you are teaching them!
