TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been blessed with a job that I love for the past 16 years! My teaching experience includes kindergarten, first and second grades. Additionally, I spent one year as a special education consultant teacher in first through fifth grades. Currently, I am teaching my 9th year of kindergarten and loving every minute of it!
MY TEACHING STYLE
To meet the diverse learning styles of all my students, I "mix it up" with whole group, small group and one-on-one instruction. I believe that hands-on and real-life experiences should be incorporated whenever possible. Typically, science and social studies are integrated into my balanced literacy program.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Niagara University. My master's degree, from DePaul University, is in Reading and Learning Disabilities. Currently, I am attending Niagara University for a second master's degree in School Counseling.
